Everything went well. Morrow Landscaping showed up on time on a Monday and the entire job was finished by end of day Wednesday. All of the old landscaping was removed and disposed of and the area was cleaned up. We are very pleased and would definitely recommend Morrow Landscaping to anyone looking for this type of job to be done.

This was an overall excellent experience! Bobby was responsive from the initial email, throughout the work, and after completion. He was knowledgeable about his trade, provided great idea, and explained everything thoroughly and professionally. He did a great job staying in contact with me about scheduling and worked around my family's schedule. The work was done exactly as described and the crew did a fantastic job. The cleanup was also very thorough. Bobby found a broken drain pipe which he advised me off and after an agreed upon rate, promptly repaired for us. We are very pleased with the quality, communication, professionalism, and price. We highly recommend Morrow Landscaping for consideration of your next project!

The first part of the job was done to my satisfaction but it was bid way too high - even the owner agreed that he overestimated how long the job would take but he refused to make an adjustment. The job took a total of 8 hours (one man) I paid the bill in full ($950), giving him the benefit of the doubt that it would be made up in the second part of the job, which is what he said. The second part of the job was to plant shrubs and perennials and ground cover. The quote for the shrubs and perennials was twice what their actual cost was (I don't know if landscapers typically mark these up but I was told I would get receipts for them so I assumed I would pay what he paid). and the labor was 2.5 hours. The quote for this was $800. I paid half. The ground cover was never planted, the last I heard the owner was looking for quality ground cover and would contact me after 2:00 that afternoon. That was 3 weeks ago.

"So much wrong in this review I am not even sure where to begin. Ill start with "the job being bid too high". First off the job had a total of 16 man hours invested in it. Your 8 hours is based upon time at your home(which was actually 12 man hours) does not include travel time, load time, ect. You agreed upon a price you thought was fair and then when the job only took a day and a half you complained and asked for money back. I said to you which I think others would agree "If the job took longer than I expected, would you be okay with me charging you more money than we originally agreed upon?". Even though I thought it was completely ridiculous, I said I would be willing to work with you to make sure you had a good experience. You fail to mention that you also had my guy remove and additional tree that I did not agree to have removed in the original quote and you were not charged for it. I have about 5 emails confirming everything I am stating. Now, next the planting portion, first off as your review states you refused to pay for the second half of the money you were contractually obligated to pay and still have not to this day and are refusing to after I asked for payment multiple times. You state it was agreed upon 800 dollars and the plants costed 400 dollars and it took my guy 2.5 hours to plant and an additional 3 hours to [Member Information Removed] to pick up to plants, load them, and deliver them to your home. The plants actually costed 450. So you were charged 350 dollars to have 16 plants picked up, delivered to your home, and planted into the ground. I obviously have to pay an employee his wages out of that 350 plus the long list of associated costs to be in business. If I would charge you any less than that my business does not exist. I am fully licensed, insured, pay my guys a great rate, and pay all necessary taxes. So at the end of the day you got all the work completed that you wanted to your satisfaction, then you decided that the price was high (even though you had zero estimates from other contractors to prove my price was high) and decide you were not going to pay the money you were contractually obligated to pay."

They completed the job in one day and the crew was kind and professional. I was very satisfied with the end product when they finished. The mulching gave my home the curb appeal I was looking for and two of my neighbors were referred for work at their home.

Bob, in an effort to save us money, initially attempted to repair a 30 year old French drain but it was too far gone so it was replaced. He graded & seeded the area near the drain and also reseeded a bare section in the lawn. Morrow's team then edged, by hand, very straight & deep all of the beds and added a thick (3") layer of mulch. Bob is very conscientious!! He called/ emailed when delayed by weather. A few weeks after completion, he returned to check on things and see if we had any concerns. Previous to hiring Bob, I had scheduled meetings with two other landscapers for an estimate but they never arrived, only one called to cancel. Fortunate for me, since I hired Morrow Landscaping and Bob will now conduct all of year-round landscaping needs: fall, winter, & spring clean-ups, etc. on our property. Bob is honest and very customers friendly and will provide estimates.

Rob Morrow and his able assistant performed lawn care through the summer of 2015.
They were impressively thorough and efficient, reliable and on time.
They did the job and left with a minimum disruption of our family activities.
The costs for the the lawn work and the shrubbery work at the end of the
season were quite reasonable.  I look forward to their high-quality service
in the coming year.

He didn't do all the weeding and just did some of it. I had bricks lined up around a tree in my front yard and was starting to look not as good as I would like. When they removed them for me, they just threw the bricks down the hill in my yard and didn't dispose of them properly. I asked him to come back in three months and do some more weeding and he never came back.
Response from Morrow Landscaping
"Hi [Member name], I really wished you would have contacted me to express your dissatisfaction with the work that was completed. Last time I heard from you was roughly 2 months ago when we did a walk around of the property to make sure everything was up to par and you told me it looked great so my crew left. We never discussed coming back to do more weeding, I remember you asking if we could come back towards the end of September to trim a few bushes which is completed unrelated to the original work which you are describing in this review. As for the bricks, if they are the brick edging that was falling over in your yard, we removed them and placed them at the top of the hill at your request because you were unsure if you were going to use them somewhere else on your property. Im sorry if the bricks somehow managed to slide down the hill but I assure your that they were not thrown over the hill I personally stacked them there for you and showed you that they were there. If you have any questions or additional concerns please feel free to contact me, I have never had an issue with a customer that I haven't been able to resolve and I do not feel that this review is an accurate description of your experience with my company. Excellent.  We are extremely satisifed with all the work.  From the time I met with the Owner Bobby Morrow he was very professional and prompt.  He provided us with a detailed estimate before the work was performed. The price was reasonable and the quality of workmanship was superior.  We plan on doing more lanscaping this summer and have already contracted Morrow Landscaping to provide the service.  We also have decided to use this company on a weekly basis for cutting the grass and trimming schrubs.  We would highly reccommend this company!!

They were BY FAR the most inexpensive quote I received. I cannot say enough good things about the beautiful job they have done. The owner Bobby is very professional and available to speak to whenever I have a question. Other companies I have used are impossible to contact and are large so they don't care as much about the job they do. If you live in Plum, Penn Hills or surrounding areas, Morrow Landscaping is the way to go. HANDS DOWN!!

The estimate was a few hundred dollars less than others estimates I obtained. To my delight, the work was of a much higher quality than my previous landscaping service. I am extremely impressed with the quality of the work.
I dealt exclusively, with the owner, Mr. Morrow, who I found to be extremely articulate, professional and attentive. He and his crew arrived on time and completed the task in a professional manner that exceeded my expectations. I have referred my neighbors and friends to Morrow Landscaping and my friends and neighbors have experienced the same positive results.
Morrow Landscaping's focus on customer service, dedication to professionalism and high caliber of work has secured my repeat business and I highly recommend the company!
