Brian came out the same day to provide an estimate, and scheduled a repair for the same week. He showed up on time and completed the job efficiently. He was very honest with his evaluation and he explained everything he did. Very pleased with this company!

All the work I have had done I was very pleased with.

I saw Brian's deal on Angie's list, and I called him right away. My husband and I had been pricing roofers for a while, and Brian's price was right in line with our budget. I phoned him and he called back the same day :) Brian's team came over and we reviewed the roof, and we hired him that day. He and his team were professional, kind, and all around good people (my 13 month old loved them). They were also very good at their job! Our roof, as noted, was in pretty bad shape, a little worse then we knew, although expected. Brian took care of it with little adjustment to the price (hooray!). He also helped replace some shingles on our side. When the job was done, his team had our back breezeway and patio looking like new. We will recommend to anyone who needs a roof.

Easy to deal with.  Very trust worthy.  Went great.  I am using them again currently and recommended them to a friend.

The jobwas weather-delayed for several days, but the work was completed in a single day when the weather allowed.  The new shingles have a much thicker "3-D" appearance than the old shingles.

He gave an estimate and I agreed to have the work completed but from
then on, he was unreachable. I tried over and over again to reach him
and only asked that he return my call so that I could go elsewhere, if
necessary. Still haven't heard a word. Not a very good business practice. Wasted lots of time on this one.

He has to follow up with me for the estimate because the weather has not been so good. He gave me an estimate for the whole roof but he said that he was not sure that I might only need a repair and that is what I am waiting for to see if he is going to come back. He was very honest. My wife and I both work and he came out when we were not home that is why I wanted him to come back when we are home so that I can show him some things. I just spoke with him on the phone and our interaction has been good. He is just so busy so I have to get him back out here. His estimate was very fair. I got an estimate from another person who is not on Angie's List and it was double his price. I am happy with him but he has not been back out and it has been a week and a half or almost two weeks already. Initially, I would grade his responsiveness and punctuality as 'A' but for the follow up, it would be incomplete. My contact with him has been great but he has not done any work yet. I would not use him again in the future until I see his work because it is really hard to evaluate him now.

Brian was great to work with. He called me back right away and set up an estimate for repairing and replacing some siding that had fallen off the back of our house. When he knew he was running late the day of the estimate, he called to let me know. He was nice enough to not knock as requested since our baby was napping. Brian got back to us with a price fast (best quote we received) and was able to do the work less than a week later. He showed up on time and did a great job. I would highly recommend him - he was easy to work with, communicated with us and was very professional. I am very pleased as he was the first contractor we hired from Angie's List.

It didnt go- he never called or came back!

It was the deal on the price that really sold us. Once the job was started they were done in a day to a day and a half-- very fast!

Due to his lack of professionalism and truthfulness -we have no idea how it went - as he apparently never showed as we never heard back from him and had to hire any provider of services to perform job.

He was one of only a few of the roofers we contacted who put his quote in writing and his quote was well below all the others.  He guarnateed the materials based on the manufacturers warranty and his labor for 10 years.  Shingle samples were provided to select the color before beginning.  He was a few weeks late beginning the job due to poor weather and because he was very busy, but he was personally on the job every day and, once he started the job, he stayed with it and brought in additional people as needed until the job was finished.  The job was done for the quoted price with no additional or "surprise" charges.  Overall, we were very pleased with his work and are happy with the results.

overall it went well. we did run into some unexpected problems. during the time the work was being done the weather was very unpredictable. the roof was in the middle of being put on. the workers were done for the day. that night we had a terrible storm. into the am. my daughter yelled to me it was raining in her bedroom. when I went in water was pouring down. all over the carpet around her ceiling fan.what a huge flood and mess. I then went into my sons bedroom to find the same problem.. I immediately called brian. he was at are house with in 15 min. he said that 1 of his workman did not do something right. he then went on roof in rain and fixed it. he eventually repaired the damaged done to both rooms. yes it was a big inconvience to us. brian told us that he fired that worker that didn't do the job right. my roof is finished. it looks great. so far im very happy with it.

Brian is very busy this fall so we have decided to be one of his first jobs this spring.  We are looking for a  March date...if weather cooperates then sooner.  Brian responded to my inquiry very quickly and gave us a great estimate.  After talking extensively to him, my husband and I decided to go with Brian.  I will update this report come March.  BTW - we contacted 6 providers in total.

 Brian was helpful and professional throughout.  At one point a crew member did not properly set the gutter prior to breaking for the weekend.  This coincided with a 2-3 inch rainfall that caused leakage and water damage to my sun room and laundry room  below.  Brian apologized and brought in a dry wall installer to repair the damage with no argument.  He took responsibility and immediately addressed the problem.  I could not have asked for more..  He was so good in fact, that I contracted him for a second job, to finish my gables with aluminum and vinyl scallop shakes.  He also provided me contact with another contractor to replace my attic windows as he did not have the time or resources to add this third job this summer. 
I will write a second review for the gables and shakes contract.  I was very pleased with his work.  I recommend Brian Griggle wholeheartedly and will call him again in the future.

The initial estimate/meeting went really well and because he was local we decided to grant him the business.  He said he'd squeeze us in because the job wasn't going to take long.  This was back in mid July when we initially met.  We agreed that he would squeeze us in on a Saturday when he was free.  He called a few weeks later and said he would come out on September 21st and do the work.  So now months have passed and on Friday evening the 20th, I contacted him by phone to inquire if he was indeed coming by on Saturday as I knew the weather was questionable but was to clear by noon.  He informed me via text, he was away at a wedding and would not be coming.  This I found annoying because he never even informed me that he had to be at a wedding, which I would have understood.  So this week, I knew was going to be a perfect weekend as far as the weather was concerned that he would most likely get the job in for us.  I texted him early Saturday morning and by 11am had no response.  My husband was irritated and left him a phone message and within a half hour he called me back and informed me he "didn't like the tone of the message" and this weekend he had family issues of which we were not informed.  Again a phone call or text would have been nice.  I asked him when he planned on coming out.  And all he could say was "I said I'd squeeze yinz in".and that his home owners thinks he sits around watching Price is Right all day.  All I said was that I would have liked a mere phone call as to when he planned on coming out.  Now we are two days from October and the work we wanted done before winter hit is in jeopardy of not getting done at all.  He got angry with us when we pressed for a scheduled date and told us to go find someone else.  Honestly, that's the best thing he could have said, because he read my mind. 







All we wanted was communication, which he does not make a priority.   We really do understand emergencies, weather problems and family commitments.  A text, a phone call, a voice mail an email would have sufficed to let us know we were not forgotten and at some point no longer a "squeeze-in" job.  I have seen other reviews since July of jobs he has done that were of equal monetary value which were complete and not " squeezed in".  In my opinion, he does not value each one of his customers equally.  From reading other reviews, we are not the only ones that have had this very same issue.







WORK WAS NEVER PERFORMED.......AND NEVER WILL BE BY THIS CONTRACTOR.

I called to get my gutters cleaned on 9/19/13. I made an appointment for 9/25/13. They arrived at 10:00 am and came in to talk to me about how they were going to clean my gutters. They went outside and got up my side porch roof with their ladders. They got a bag of mud and plants from my side gutter. The cleaned the rest of my gutters and cleaned up after their work. They came in to tell me about a problem with my side gutter draining. They thanked me for choosing them.

They started the roof at the beginning of February and finished it at the end of the month. It snowed several times between when they removed the old roof and when they put on the new roof.

I am a disabled person and the crew left debris on the sidewalk that prevented me from entering my home.

I'm still finding nails in my yard in July.

He was supposed to email me the quote amount but he never did.  He was a real personable man but I didn’t get the estimate that I wanted.  He seemed really professional and he was definitely on time.

Brian listened to and addressed all of our concerns, including adding extra insulation where requested. He was easy to contact via phone, email, or text. He is very personable and easy to work with. I would highly recommend him.

Initially Brian was nice and punctual. We agreed on a roofing job to our house and contract details were drafted although not signed yet since he said he was booked with jobs that time. We agreed to get in touch and have the job done sometime late June, 2013. By end of June, we started to wonder since he has not contacted us then. Ultimately, we found out that he couldn't do the job because according to him, his crew unexpectedly resigned. He said he had to cancel several jobs and couldn't find replacements.

I would not recommend this person to do any work for me...since he is sooo busy he doesn't need my work...,

Brian was very easy to work with and got everything done very quickly. Brian is easy to talk with and reasonably priced compared to other vendors. Brian replaced one vent that was rotting and put in new gutter guards as well, which was not part of the original cost for free. I would highly recommend Brian!
