Meineke #2517

I went on-line and found my closest Meineke. They provided a way to make appointments on-line but there was no way to make a same day appointment on-line. I called and they said they had had cancellations and to come in. They kept their office locked but had me fill out a form outside with my details. There was an overhang to stand under but no chairs to sit on. There is a Dunkin Doughnuts across the parking lot if you want to wait inside. After about 10 minutes they took the car in for inspection. After inspecting the whole exhaust system and a further 10 minute wait, they decided that only the one hanger was needed. The cost was $98. They ground off the old hanger and welded on a new hanger. It took about 20 min. Although a sign said wear masks inside, none of the employees wore masks, no gloves were worn, and no covers were given to the floor of the car or the driver seat. The shop has 6 bays and 3 mechanics and a receptionist were present. The shop is easy to get to and there is plenty of parking. No mention was made of the senior discount which I discovered when writing this review.
