Stop your search...call Zalar's. Our highest compliment is they treated our lawn as if it were their own. A very large maple tree was taken down in late fall so a complete redo of the front yard was needed. The tree cast complete shade on the front so there virtually was no grass...and heavy Pittsburgh clay soil. The ground was prepared and seeded, weeds and old shrubs removed, all beds were mulched, beautiful new shrubs were planted, and a very, very heavy lawn ornament was picked-up and installed. Beyond the very fair, highly competitive price, Adam and Eric proved to be highly skilled craftsmen. They made excellent suggestions which improved our initial plans. The smallest detail did not escape their attention. Zalar's has our unqualified endorsement.

I agreed to the work. Rain caused delays in November. No problem for me. Adam came with another employee. The work in a little over four hours. Will have them come back to trim new shrubs. The front yard looks so nice I won't let anyone go near it. Get nice complements from neighbors. I think it is the nicest looking front yard on the street. It was worth every dollar.

The determination was that the damage was to severe that I would need an overlay.  This was not something that was provided by this company.  The representative provided me with a contact for that service.

Couldn't have been more satisfied with the work performed. Would like to see Zalars take over routine maintenance of the property. I would recommend and use them again in the future.

The provider suggested a very aggressive approach to trimming shrubs and hedges, arrived on the day appointed and did all work specified.

They come periodically and mow my lawn and edge it.

Manager was always responsive to complaints.  However crews didn't always seem to be as concerned about doing excellent work(one exception was when we had some shrub trimming done--the worker was very good).  so there were more disconnects resulting in more complaints than I would have liked.

They're excellent; really good. They're prompt, professional and do a good job. They're here when they say they'll be here. If I have something else I need, I can call them and they answer immediately and take care of it immediately. They provide very good service.

We had them clear our back yard to have a pool installed. Matt gave us a fair price, arrived when he said he would and did a great job. They did such good work we had them come back after the pool was installed and do the landscaping around it. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Snow removal and/or salting

First my phone call was returned with in 15 minutes .  They came the next day and and called w/ price.Sent a crew out that
saturday within 3 hours the job was done .  The crew was professional and friendly.  I will recommend them highly.

I pay them monthly over a period of 9 months. It is for as many grass cuts and one leaf cleaning. They do a really good job. It goes very well. They are professional and they show up.

It always goes well with Zalar's LLC, I have used them for several projects at my home and plan to use them in the future.  Matt and his crew are efficient, reliable, polite, and provide excellent service.  I have recently received estimates from Matt Zalar  for  stump and root removal, planting new trees, etc.  I will definitely  hire Zalar's to take care of this work when I am ready.   All of my experiences with Zalar's has been excellent.

I called and they had a representative come bid my job.  I got other bids and Zalar's was the best.  They were happy to work out a payment plan with me for the season.  They did my first grass cut prior to even getting a check from me.  I've been happy with the job they are doing.

At the End of Each & Every Day they Clean up Work Area before going Home. Everything was Done in a Timely Schedule. Matt made sure of elevation of concrete forms was set for proper water drainage of driveway. I have a long driveway. Matt Zallar went over the whole job area with Me & made sure of everything was in place correctly. I Like that. Matt took the Time & Consideration of doing that with Me. After the Concrete  was done & it rained a week later. I went outside watching the rain water flowed 'Perfectly' from sides of driveway down toward the bottom end of long driveway 'catch drain/basin'. There were No Puddles at all. Everything was straight, level, and the water flowed toward the middle some what & all the way down towards to bottom end of long driveway 'catch drain/basin'. JUST PERFECT WATER FLOW !
