They were very responsive and performed installation in quick time. They fixed an installation issue very quickly.

Presentation was very upfront and honest. A firm, fair price and installation date was quoted on the spot. There was no sales pressure. Installation was on time, completed quickly and neatly with clear explanations and demonstration about operating the stairlift.

Everyone with the company was very professional. They went above and beyond in every aspect of the process. Quick service, answered all my questions, calmed all my fears and was a reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them, excellent company!

I had to call them 4 times before I received a call back. The said they would send a serviceman out. A ACORN serviceman came and checked it out and found nothing. He said it was probably a circuit board costing $1500 and he would call "Independent Mobility"and let them know about it. It still is stopped at the top of the stairs and no word from "Independent".

This company just showed up after I did some searching for information on the internet. I did not ask them to come out but, they were here so I had him look at the chair lift. He found the problem quickly. After cutting the wire and untangling it he said he would have to get a new wire. He said he would be back in 3 days with the new wire to finish. Paid him for the first trip. He never returned. Called and left many messages because he would not answer the phone. He never even returned our calls. It has been about 3 weeks. I had to hire another company. We will see if they do any better. If he did not want the job, all he had to do was call us back to tell us. Seemed to know what he was doing but very inconsiderate by not calling us back. Elderly parents have not been able to go down the steps in over a month because of this.

After 3-4 mouths it is still not fixed. Yeat it had a wireing defect still wateing for it to come in. Call several times. No one calls you back only one service. Man to cover every think. Do not get any think from them. Even the B B B. Is on them

These people were very responsive and extremely helpful when my mother called them to buy and install a chair lift system. Could not have been nicer or more responsive. They also told us that when mom no longer needed the chairlift, they would buy it back for $600 -$800. The lift was installed 10/23/2017 and mom passed away 1/26/18. She likely used the chairlift 3 or 4 times. So now I needed to have the system removed. I called and called. They finally returned the call and said they would pay me $400. Strange in that we only had this for 3 months and almost no usage/ wear and tear. But okay, please come get it. That started many weeks of calling and calling and no answer and more importantly, no return call. When we finally got hold of the women there, very unfriendly, she set up an appointment. Well no one showed. So I called. Sorry he got tied up she said and needed to set another appointment up, but said she would need to call me back to confirm it later. Well a few hours before that appointment, I called to see if they were coming and worth my time to travel over to mom's house to let them in. She was rude with me and said since she did not call me back that that meant the appointment was not confirmed. She said she would have to get back to me again. So several weeks later I tried to call. She tried to apologize that her 1 installer (I believe it to be her son?) is really tied up on an elevator job and she will get back to me ASAP. I stressed to her the house was going on the market and we really wanted the chairlift out before the open house. Well that came and went with out hearing from them. So my son called her and said the house is sold and the closing is 3/28. She said she would make sure they got over to get it out by then and would call him to let him know when. That was like last Wednesday. Friday afternoon my son called her and she was very put out he called and she rudely said "I told you I would call you when I know when we will be there. That will be next week". So Monday goes by, no call. It is Tuesday at 3:00 and no call. So I called her up again and she in a very nasty voice said "I told your son we would be there Wednesday morning". Well just like the several times she told me she said something before and she actually did not, this was the same situation. She NEVER told my son Wednesday morning and actually said whenever they come it will have to be late in the day. So I suggest you avoid this company like the plague. If they got rid of the women on the phone and got someone competent there, they would likely be okay. So all things happen for a reason. So I contacted Marty. I now just wanted to donate this chairlift to a needy vet or family. Marty sent over someone from another company. He had the system out in less than an hour and assured me he and Marty will find a needing person for this system. AVOID INDEPENDENT MOBILITY. IF YOU NEED FOLLOW UP SERVICE, YOU WILL REGRET DEALING WITH THEM.

You call them and they take there time calling you back. Called them to fix a chairlift in my church, which we bought from them. You think they would get back to you since it's a church. Our older people rely on the chair to get them up to the sanctuary and down to the fellowship hall. Very displeased with this company, you think they would take care of you. Would not recommend them.

This all happened the week before Xmas. They guaranteed I could have for the holiday. And they came thru. Excellent service. Installed was right on time. 3 hrs later up and running.

I have nothing but praise for this company. I would highly recommend them. They were prompt , and solved my problem.

I have put their business phone in my smartphone I will do everything to promote their business it was a no drama experience which is a rarity in today's world

After several calls to these people, a technician finally came out to my home to assess the problem with my chairlift. Without examining the chairlift, he said I need new rollers and charged me $125 for a house call. He said he will order parts and get back to me and I would just have to pay for parts only next visit. That was June 1, 2017 and I never received a call back. Calling these people is ridiculous! You never can reach them or if you leave a message, they never get back to you. I am still without a chairlift since end of May but they did offer to sell me a new one, of course! I need my chairlift and they promised to get back to me and never did. I can't see why I had to pay $125 when their site said free estimates, no work was done or parts ordered. Beware if you call these guys, you'll get the runaround.

The man who came out to measure and provide a quote was a professional, with a lot of knowledge, experience, and a common sense approach. He answered all of my questions, and I appreciate that I did not feel pressure to buy immediately from him. The woman who answered the phone to set up the installation was not very helpful. The man who came out to install the lift did a good job, but did not clean up the dirt he made on the stairs after he drilled the holes to install the track. The stair lift we purchased is good, but not outstanding. My father has difficulty remembering instructions, and has resorted to using the two remotes to get himself up and down the stairs on the new lift, rather than use the switch on the right armrest.

We received exceptional service. The first chair we ordered turned out to be wrong for my wife because she couldn't handle the swivel, and when we reported that about four days later, they replaced that chair with one with power swivel for free, charging only for the difference between the two chairs. They went way beyond their obligation. We rated the work quality with a 4 only because the first installer didn't show us how to use the remotes which turned to be not working because of faulty code in them, but that was not a significant error.

Owner was great to deal with but ran into some problems getting right product for completion.We like the people and hope the service is better in future in case we need something repaired.

Both technicians were personable, kind, and professional. They were able to resolve the issue and were respectful of my time, lack of knowledge of the equipment, and home. I would rely and trust them to help me in the future.
