I have used VIgliotti Landscape & Construction for the past 5 years to provide Spring clean up services for my property. This includes weeding, edging, trimming all shrubs and spreading mulch. I have never had any issues with any of Mr. Vigliotti's employees. They are hard workers and courteous.
In addition, I used Mr. VIgliotti to replace my sidewalk and driveway. The quality of the work was an A+. I could not be happier.
The only issue I have is the response time. I have had to place several calls to the office and I have had to wait for a call back. I just chalked it up to the fact that the company must be very busy.
I do understand the frustration about the gentleman and the snow removal issue. I really cannot comment on that because I have never used this service. In addition, I have never dealt with Mr. Fratangelo, but I do think Mr. Fratangelo should have called the gentleman back before there was a snowfall. From my many years of working with Vigliotti Landscape, I believe that the owner, Joe Vigliotti, was unaware of the situation and would not approve of Mr. Fratangelo's behavior. Sounds like there is a personnel issue that needs to be addressed.
"When meeting with the homeowner, our Vigliotti Landscape & Construction representative informed him that our equipment is too large for residential services, however rather than dismiss the opportunity altogether, Nando Fratangelo stated he would consult our company owner, Joseph Vigliotti, to determine if there was any possible way to service the homeowner. After several days of trying to secure smaller equipment and manpower, we determined that our best approach would be to clear his driveway the old fashioned way: using shovels and snow blowers. The homeowner did not like the idea, and also declined Joseph's offer to personally clear the driveway by shoveling it himself. We can understand the homeowner's dissatisfaction at how long it took our company to come to this determination, however, unbeknownst to him, we made a very valiant effort to potentially purchase smaller equipment as well as hiring another driver to help accomplish this. We could not accomplish all of this in a 7 day period, and therefore we can understand the homeowner's anger that he beat us to the phone when he had to contact us for an update, and a snow storm was creeping upon us. Vigliotti Landscape & Construction makes every possible effort to satisfy not only customers, but also attempts to satisfy those who are not customers yet. Nando tried to make it possible to clear a residential driveway when we are armed with significantly large equipment exclusively used for commercial complexes. Evidence of this rests in the office where the homeowner called in and asked if we could plow the driveway, and the answer from our office manager was an unfortunate "sorry, we are not able", as is the correct response; but Nando took it upon himself to see if there was any possible way- as is his personality to do so. He just couldn't make it happen and he takes responsibility for the time delay in calling the homeowner back in time. A dissatisfied response from this homeowner may be understandable, however a negative review of this magnitude is unwarranted- not to mention the fact that we never even performed one bit of work, and our offer to shovel the driveway was declined.
