Fine. The office is okay, depending on the employee that is there. Some of them are very helpful and others serve grudgingly if they can't refer you to the 800 number.

technician was great!  Answered all my questions and made sure I understood everything before he left.  This was very easy for me to hook up on my own without a lot of wires.

No real problem with TV other than having to reset the DVR or having it crash on occasi0n. Also have to reboot the phones from time to time. Internet service is very fast. Service has been good. Price keeps creeping up though so I'm shopping around right now.

The gentleman was very helpful trying to find a discount that would meet my needs. My only issue was that if I were an uneducated consumer, the sales technique is very strong.

Technician was courteous and knowledgeable. He was patient when I had to go and perform various tasks to check my phone and internet. I though it would take a long time and would require a service call. It was quick and painless and my phone service has been restored.

They are good and we don't really have any complaints. It is always the lesser of the evils when it comes to that. It is about $90 per phone and we have two phones with them.

They are as good as the other people I've had before. I am not particularly happy with any of them. They advertise a bundled package and if I add any extras on, I get additional added to my bill which they didn't tell me. They came on a Sunday when my internet went out. They come when they say they will come. I signed a contract so I will continue using them until I sell my house.

I have good service with them; I have never had any problems with them at all. They are very good and I will continue my service through Verizon.

I've been a loyal Verizon customer for 11 years, and one of the first FIOS customers in my area, but no more. I had already had my run-ins with their horrible customer service automated voice response line that takes you 15 minutes to get to where you need to be and then hangs up on you. And still I hung in there.

Until last week, when I was moving across town. I called them to schedule FIOS setup in my new home, and was told that, although the apartment did have FIOS service, that particular apartment address was not in their system. They said they needed 24-48 hours to and quot;build the address into the system, and quot; and would call me in the next day or two when that was done to schedule the setup. I had explained to them that I work from home and absolutely must have internet service ASAP and that I was hoping to move on Sunday. They said no problem, so I went ahead and scheduled the move.

Keep in mind this was not a problem with the service itself being physically present - it was there. All they needed to do was something akin to entering the apartment address into their database, and it was going to take them 24-48 hours to do that. But OK, I'm a patient person. I'll wait.

Four days later, I hadn't gotten a call back. It was now the day before the move, and I called their horrible, blood-pressure-spiking customer service line again. I was extremely busy as you can imagine, and you need to allot at least a half hour for any call to them. The representative who finally answered acted like they'd never heard of me, told me it takes up to two weeks (!) to build an address into their system, and that they could set me up for DSL in the meantime, but there would be a $30 setup fee. Yes, you heard that right - they wanted me to pay a setup fee for a service I never wanted because they couldn't get their trip together enough to set up a new customer in less than two weeks. After I complained vehemently, she offered to credit the fee against my first bill, but by that time I was thoroughly disgusted. I asked to speak to a manager, and the representative got very irritated with me, finally agreed to transfer me, and then the line was disconnected. Believe it or not, I actually called back one more time, and got someone in the business department who was very apologetic for being completely clueless, and gave me a different number to call.

My next call was to Comcast. They came out the next day (on a Sunday), and set me up with their Xfinity TV/internet/voice system, for less money (after the promotional period) than I've been paying for FIOS and Vonage. I have to say I still prefer the FIOS service over what I've seen of Comcast so far, but I'm not missing Verizon's pathetic excuse for customer service one little bit.

Our experience with Verizon has been a mixed bag. When they installed the FiOS they had to come back the next day because it was not working.

I have had Verizon DSL for about six years. Their linemen are superb, and I have been very impressed when they came to my home a couple times to work on DSL line problems. However, I am going to switch to another DSL provider as soon as I can find one that serves my area because my Verizon DSL service is bad and getting worse all the time. It would seem that they have constant line problems, as my DSL is in and out EVERY DAY now, and has been for most of the summer. When it is not out altogether, my speeds are often worse than dialup. I have called repeatedly about this problem, and they will resolve it briefly after I call, but then the problems resume. I don't think I should have to call them once a week or more to ask them to fix their service. After talking to them on the phone so many times, and explaining again and again that the problem cannot be resolved by my turning the modem on and off, they admit that it's a problem in the central office or lines between here and the central office. Well. Looks like something they are well aware of, but for whatever reason aren't inclined to want to permanently fix. It's a shame, but I can't continue to pay for a service I'm not receiving.

Our cell contract with Verizon was finished and we were looking to switch in order to save money. After looking into the other major national providers, we determined that although we pay more, it is worth it because the service is better. We both travel for work and can't afford to take the chance of losing service in an emergency. We visited our local Verizon store and found them to be helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. We were directed to the least expensive phones until we informed the representative that we wanted to upgrade. The final bonus was when we paid: once again our representative saved the day by discovering that my employer offers a 15% discount!

The Verizon technician was very experienced, efficient and had the service going in a few hours. He let me know in the morning about what time he would arrive at my home and was about a half hour early. I appreciated that and was able to plan my day better.

The Verizon technician was very professional and knowledgeable about the service he was installing and made sure both computers that were on the router were working correctly. I was very pleased with how quickly everything was completed and with no complications. The service has been very reliable.

I LIKE THE FACT THEY ARE AVAILABLE WITHOUT HAVING TO GET A SECOND PHONE LINE, OR TYING UP MY EXISTING PHONE LINE. THE SPEED OF THE INTERNET IS EXCELLENT. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. I DO NOT USE THEM FOR MY LOCAL PHONE SERVICE.

THEIR PRICES ARE RATHER HIGH. THE SPEED IS SLOWER, THAN I EXPECTED FROM A DSL SERVICE PROVIDER. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY SERVICE INTERRUPTIONS. IT CAN BE HARD TO GET THE RIGHT PERSON, WHEN I CALL WITH A QUESTION.
