I contracted John Graef (Trotwood Painters) to stain the siding above my living room. He sent a part time painter who was ill, and in the hospital, more than on my job. The job looks very amateurish with about every other board stained. I didn't notice this until the stain dried and I had already paid John $2585 when he showed up after the job. I tried calling and texting him but he ignored my attempts to contact him. He doesn't even have a current, legitimate address so don't bother trying to take him to court. John is a first-class con artist.

Terrible! Inferior flat finish primer plus paint used. Only 1 coat applied to surfaces that get constant sun/weather. Paint all over the surrounding brick. Uneven application. ALL THE WINDOWS ARE PAINTED SHUT! Looks like a kid did the work ( it was not a kid ) owner John saw the work when he came to collect his money and clearly didn't care how poorly it was done. Really disappointing that they take no pride in their work. I'm embarrassed for anyone to even see how bad the trim looks and the mess left around it.

This was the first time we used Trotwood Painting. I guess the bottom line is that I we are extremely pleased with how our house looks after it was painted. The two painters, Jimmy and Joe both were great workers and went the extra mile to do a good job. I was impressed with the workmanship and I will hire Trotwood Painting again.

Rude workers complained about us coming in and out of the house. Owner john was looking to collect money but job was not finished. Workers forgot to paint a door. Messy work--- we had to point out drips. I'm still seeing uneven work depending on time of day and lighting. Would NEVER hire again

If you are looking for "good enough" this is the place to use. I wanted to do some touch up roof repairs without having someone try to sell me a new roof. It's very hard to find someone willing to do a small job, and to suggest alternative methods for repairs. The price was very reasonable, and Jim, who did the work, was a very efficient worker. We also had some rotting wood beneath our gutters, and some paint that needed touching up. On their second visit, we had a small leak, and also needed our gutters cleaned. They quickly took care of both.

Power washed house, painted by hand. All went well, did a good job and touched up everything we asked them to touch up before cleaning up. No complaints

Not how I would expect one to work with their customer. In the end, not happy at all with the work, but I would have give the work a Fair mark - maybe a C. But because of the completely unprofessional way he interacted with me, I give him an F.

Overall, they were prompt. However, when I spoke with the owner he assured me that it would be clean before it was painted. I noticed that it wasn't and some of my paint is already peeling. Also, there were places that were missed.
