Eli came out quickly and evaluated the door install we needed; gave us a price and said they could get the door for us from Home Depot once we ordered it/paid for it. In the end HD didn't have the right door and Eli's crew was willing to pick up a door for us from Lowes at the waterfront. They got the door and came to install on the day and time that was agreed upon. It was a hard install, it's a 100 year old house, and nothing is straight! They got the door in and leveled everything to get it working properly. Unfortunately when they installed the old deadbolt it wasn't working right. I contacted the company over the weekend and they arrived promptly on Monday to get it right. In the end we paid 450 for the door install (were quoted $400, but seriously they were here for 6 hours! and the price was fair) I'm very happy with the level of work and effort that went into doing it right and returning to make sure that the deadbolt was working properly too. Highly recommend! Jody and David were both easy to work with, very professional and do good work.

DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE! Total Handy Services sent two guys, on April 24th, 2019 after the job requirements had been reviewed by Eli Asur and the end result of the work was very unprofessional. When they got to my house they were supposed to have tile, they didn’t. There weren't that many tiles that needed replaced (40), but they somehow used the entire box of new ones as well as the ones that were already up, on the ceiling. I paid for the tile ($44.52) the brown paint they used was mine and they only provided about a quart of white paint. They used my wet/dry vacuum and also, did not have the correct stapler for the tile. They changed the surface of the wall to a clumpy look of plaster, nothing like the surrounding wall. The painting was very little, but they somehow managed to make the line where the wall and base boards meet sloppy with brown paint, as if some little kids did it. Also, the tile is so off the grid line it's very noticeable, about an inch crooked. And it looks horrible compared to the other part of the ceiling. This began on April 24, 2019 and I am in the process of getting some satisfaction. Eli Asur seems to be trying to goad me into losing my temper so that he'll have an excuse not to perform. Also, the price was to high for the work that needed to be done and what I received. I've been trying to get him to fix it, but it's been one excuse after another. Eli Asur and his workers are crooks and I wish I had read the Yelp and Angie's List reviews before I spent my money. I’ve read a couple of the other reviews here that give this company an “Excellent” rating and speak in glowing terms of them. It’s not true, because Matt B. works for Eli and he and his partner were the ones who did the terrible, unprofessional job for me. He signed my receipt! He is also the one that came in complaining when I showed him where to start replacing the ceiling, saying they’d have to replace the entire ceiling so the tile he replaced would be straight; which was a ridiculous thing to say. They advertise and boast 35 to 39 years of experience and their professionalism, but I have photographs that look as if some little kids did the work. Seems to me they set out to bilk their customers out of money which is a crime. They have taken a simple task and blown it out of proportion and no one benefitted except Total Handy Services, Eli Asur, Matt B.

DO NOT HIRE!! YOU WILL LOSE MONEY! This has been a mind-blowing experience. I hired them to fix a leak in my toilet. They came 2 hours late. I though ok, understandable since is the contracting world. The older middle eastern man (which i think owns the business) told me my leak was fixed. Well, it most certainly was not fixed. it was leaking just the same as it was before. I called back to notify them. He said he was very surprised but would send someone out to fix it. We arranged a day. That day came and they never showed up. I called he apologized repeatedly and promised to send someone out. This same process repeated its self THREE times. The last straw was when he said he would come himself after we got home from work the next night. He was supposed to show up at 5pm. 6pm rolls around and I text message him, no response. My husband then calls from another number and he answers (go figure). He said he is waiting a on machine to start our job. Whatttt??? a machine to fix a toilet?? He then sends me a picture of this giant green machine. I don't know who he had me confused with or what but I messaged him back to let him know he probably is mistaken. I received no response to that message. By this point I was too frustrated to allow them to stand me up for a FIFTH time. The next day I called and requested my money back since I wasted A LOT of time and still had a leaking toilet. He claimed that he fixed the initial leak and that this is different leak, ultimately refusing to refund my $175. Now I am some money and still have a leaking toilet. I wish I would have read these reviews before hiring this extremely disorganized and unethical company

They were great! On time...even early and professional. They keep precise notes and can do anything. They are creative in saving you money and doing things that will last.
We have used them a number of times before for electric, plumbing and other such stuff.
