I have been using him for at least 15 years. He is reliable. He has come many times in crises when suddenly the air conditioner went out in the house and their company would be there within hours. He is polite, he is fair, and he is good. I like him.

Bill has serviced my heating and air conditioning for several years. He has been the only one that I trust since I moved to Pittsburgh. The other companies seemed to only care about how much they could milk me for.

Bill is very honest and professional. He has always been reliable and quick to respond.

Great. Torbich has been servicing our heating systems since we first bought our house. We used them because their name was in a sticker in the furnace at the place we bought, and it was clear they had been servicing it for decades. That furnace is ancient, and Torbich still has it working great. We don't even pay that much on gas, which is amazing given the age of the piece. While the price for servicing is somewhat above other people I have quoted, their service is superb, and I know that they won't try to make money out of the furnace/boiler being old. They also explain in full detail what they are doing if you have questions. Learned a ton about my furnace on their first service.

Went very well. Took two days but some work had to be made to complete. Mr. Torbich told us that in the begining. He followed through and all was complete in two days just as he said.

I thought it went very well. It took two days but the duct work had to be made to fit the new furnace. They were a professional team. I could not have asked for a better team. They called before coming out and they were on time. They worked and cleaned up after each day - leaving nothing behind.

Our thermostat froze up and stopped working on a Thursday afternoon. Bill called us back the same day and walked me through a couple of things I could do just to make sure it wasn't a minor problem that I could fix myself. When it was clear that the thermostat needed to be replaced we made an appointment for Monday morning. Bill was available sooner but we were not. He called about 45 minutes in advance of arriving just to confirm and arrived promptly. He explained everything clearly and went above and beyond, showing us various features of our HVAC system that we needed to be aware of. (We are new first time homeowners.) The thermostat was replaced and then Bill performed a thorough cleaning and examination of our system so that we would be set for the winter. He was very personable, knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely call him again.

They were very professional and they were on time. They had great service and they called back within a day or so to check if there were any issues. Overall I was very happy with them. It was high quality work. They were very responsive. I would definitely use them again in the future.

Some background. I had used Torbich a few years ago to fix our A/C which wouldn't turn on. I felt they were honest after I called another company to look at the problem and they recommended I spend thousands of dollar to replace the entire unit. I wanted a second opinion so based on a neighbor's recommendation, I contacted Bill. He came out promptly and realized there were a couple bad connections that needed to be replaced and I ended up paying less than $100 to get the A/C working again. So earlier this year, our furnace would not turn on so we didn't have heat. I contact Bill and he came out the next day. He quickly diagnosed the problem as a seized motor and went to the parts warehouse to get the part and replace the motor. The work was done efficiently and he also cleaned the thermocouples while the unit was open. I definitely trust Bill's work and will use him again in the future.

I think that they are really, really good. They came in and did exactly what they were supposed to do. They have also installed both my A/C and my furnace in the past. They did well with that too. They keep track so if I need something or if something is broke, they fix it. Like one time they told me that my heat exchanger was going bad. They told me that it was still under warranty and they fixed it. They return phone calls even if it is late in the evening. Sometimes they do get real busy, but, they will call you back.

Bill, Dan, and cousin arrived on time (8:30 AM) and worked until the job was done (6:45PM). They were very courteous and professional. They explained everything. They covered the carpeting in the basement area (where feasilble) while they were working and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done. Excellent workmanship with a very positive and professional attitude.

They were able to put in the duct work without messing up any of the walls. I did have to enclose some duct work in the family room but it looks good. They really did a good job.

Their price seems on track with other companies. They've responded quickly in some very busy times. They're always very clear about what they're doing. They explain everything very clearly.

BILL TORBICH TOOK 2-3 DAYS TO RETURN CALLS, 2-5 DAYS TO SHOW UP EACH TIME. WE WERE WITHOUT AIR FOR 5 WEEKS IN JUNE-JULY. VERY EXPENSIVE AND POOR QUALITY WORK.
