The Skin Center Medical Spa Pittsburgh, PA | Columbus, OH In 1981, The Skin Center Medical Spa was founded by board certified cosmetic surgeon, Dominic Brandy, MD, to fill the growing demand for a medical practice dedicated solely to cosmetic plastic surgery and anti aging skin care for the face and body. With three Skin Center Medical Spa locations in Pittsburgh PA and one in Columbus Ohio, our staff of medical professionals offers only the most advanced, medically based skin treatments to help improve the visible signs of aging. ''We had one goal in mind when we founded The Skin Center Medical Spa and that was to improve our patients' enjoyment of life.'' said Dr. Brandy. Sharing Dr. Brandy’s enthusiasm for helping people realize their goal of a more youthful appearance and a healthier outlook, Fernando Colon, MD, board certified plastic surgeon and medical director of The Skin Center Medical Spa in Columbus, Ohio, believes that while physical appearance may not be the most important attribute, it strongly influences self-esteem. The Skin Center has multiple locations and some services are only performed at specific locations, which isn't that big of a deal. I have had a skin treatments including IPL for removing red spots, facials, and vein treatments. All have gone well and I will continue to use them.

It is our goal to help each patient achieve their aesthetic goals as an informed and educated consumer, which is why we schedule separate consultations for surgery, vein treatment and medical spa treatments. These consultations are designed to give you the opportunity to learn about the benefits and limitations of the treatments or surgery, ask questions and assess whether it is the right choice you. We want our clients to feel comfortable with the treatments or surgery they choose and have confidence in our expertise and experience. Your consultant may have been trying to convey that the QuickLift is a surgical experience and is not comparable to a minimally-invasive medical spa treatment such as injectable fillers. It is unfortunately that you were not properly scheduled for your vein consultation. The diagnostic ultrasound is an important step in being properly treated for vein issues; it helps us determine which type of vein treatment is appropriate for you. We appreciate your feedback and we will certainly use this information to better educate our staff when scheduling multiple consultations in the future."
