I looked at Sterns and Foster, Sealy, Simmons, etc at Levins, Macy's, Sears and a few other places for mattresses. I was looking for top of the line spring mattress. The price range was around $3000.00 - $5000.00 at the major retailors. I thought that was too expensive for what I was seeing.
I went to the Original Mattress factory and asked for their top of line spring mattress sets. I bought a beautiful, plush California King for approximately $1500.00. It is double sided - unlike the Sealy, and other brands that only have one side to sleep on.
Three years later, it is still the most comfortable bed I've ever had. The only problem is since it is so thick and heavy, you need 2 strong people to flip it.
I flip it every 6 months and it hasn't dented.
I highly recommend Original Mattress factory.
