We have visited many framers over 30 years in New England, CA, NJ, and PA.  We've framed everything from inexpensive photographs to delicate pieces of artwork.  So when we visit a new frame store, we bring very high expectations. 
Susan met our expectations and more.  She has a keen eye for what will (or will not) work well for your particular piece.  She works with you, offering suggestions but also listening to your preferences.  She provides you with various options, depending on your budget.  She doesn't try to force things on you that you don't want.  So you can trust her years of expertise and judgment.  We will most definitely be returning to her the future.

We have used Susan at the Framery many times over the past several years and have had nothing but great experiences. She is an expert in her field, and will do anything she can to make sure you get the piece of art/framing that you want. She will advise you on tastefully done work if you ask her for a recommendation. On one instance had a small problem with a frame that was out of her control, and she gladly remedied the situation in a prompt fashion. I can only give her the highest recommendation for any framing needs you have.

The pieces included a small piece of artwork my mother did 60+ years ago when she was in art school.  She did a wonderful job, suggesting mat colors and frame material.  The poster was a Van Buren Bay poster. A friend of mine had a place on the lake and I spent many summers there.  Its a wonderful reminder. I have used her many times and she has a good feel for what will bring out the best in the artwork being framed. I must have 20+ pieces she has framed for me over the past 7-8 years.  She has always be professional and did the work in a timely fashion.  I have never had a less than wonderful experience. Susan did a wonderful job. We had several pieces to be re-framed, one of which was challenging due to its large size and condition. She did a wonderful job, we love the end results. Several more new pieces were matted and framed also. They all turned out exceptionally well. Her consulation on matting, frames, glass, etc., was very helpful and spot on. She is a delight to work with. Her pricing was very reasonable, and everything was done when she said it would be done. My wife and I are very pleased, and would recommend her to anyone with a framing project. We will definitely use Susan again!

Susan did a beautiful job. She is reasonably priced,professional, completes work in a timely manner and I would highly recommend her.

Great customer service. The provider averted interrupting phone calls, as well as walk-in traffic in order to expedite the order.
Care was taken so that everything was and would be acid free so as to not damage the art work. There is a loading zone in front of the shop so you don't have to tote your artwork very far.
Work was done quickly and in half the time promised.
Note that the shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Susan has a great selection of framing material and does all the work in her shop. We selected frames and matting for several photos, all of which turned out beautifully. She does high quality work and in my case, completed in on the early side of the time frame we'd agreed on. I love the way the photos turned out and will definitely use her again when the need arises. Susan does excellent work.
