At the time, the work was acceptable. The work was done about a year ago by Poremski's son. Less than a year later, found a significant amount of water under the sink. When investigating the reason for the water found that the garbage disposal had become loose and was the source of all the water. Immediately called Poremski but did not receive a call back. So called another plumber, who said the bolts on the disposal had not been locked when it was installed. The service call with was over $130. Poremski called back a day later and he said he not able to return the call because he was tied up. Because of his unavailability, we had to call another plumber. Poremski made no offer to defray the cost of the second plumber. Would not use again nor recommend him.

Unfortunately, his son was tragically killed 10/31/14 which sent him into a tailspin emotionally.  He did not want me to replace him, so I waited until February 2015, when I began to request he resume work.  He promised he would come, then did not.  I had apartments fully furnished, and NO WATER to the entire building.  It's been a horrific experience, compounded by my sorrow for his loss which made me not want to hold him accountable.  This has cost me thousands of dollars.  I'll not be able to use him again.

Overall, it was fine. Service provider responded in a reasonable time to our initial request. Called before arrival as requested in order to coordinate schedules. Worked quietly during my son's nap. Job was well done and professional. Seemed a little slow and therefore a little more expensive than we anticipated but no issues with the work done.

He did the work that I requested. He also put a large sticker to call him for service onto my water heater, which he didn't install or service. While at my house, he asked if he could use the restroom. When he came out of the bathroom, he said that the internal workings of the toilet tank needed to be replaced, and I had just had it replaced! I didn't ask him to do either of those things, and I don't think a plumber should ask to use the bathroom and then start inspecting your house. He didn't cash my check for about 6 months.

One of the handles on my original two handled faucet became inoperable, and after about a week of trying to get replacement parts to fix it myself, it became apparent that I needed a professional to do a total replacement. After explaining the problem over the phone,Steven was able to get the new components and complete the job within two working days. Steven has done significant work for me in the past and his work has always been excellent and reasonably priced, so I had no qualms about giving him a time and material job without an up front estimate.

Poremski does great work! He is very customer service oriented and professional. He is very busy so he was late once, but called to let me know and when he was finished he cleaned everything up really well.
