Excellent. Responded very quickly, showed up when scheduled and completed everything in a timely manner. Will definitely be using them again.

The installation went OK, but they left the weather strips and door open sensors uninstalled.

We contacted Steel City Glass about installing new frosted glass in a transom and the french doors to our master bathroom.  They were very clear and helpful on the call and suggested that the job would be cheaper and quicker if we brought the pieces to them rather than scheduling a visit to our home.  We dropped the doors and frame off and selected a pattern from many glass samples.  The pieces were done within a week and a half, which was exactly what they promised.  They disposed of the old glass and reattached the molding without damaging the doors.  The glass looks great and we saved several hundred dollars over other estimates!

I brought in the frames from the doors on the cabinets and they inserted the glass. They had several great options of different kinds of glass to choose from, and they were all very affordably priced. They were extremely professional and helpful all during the process, and the turnaround time was excellent. I am very happy with the finished product and I would definately use them again.

My husband called in advance, they recommended we bring the window in.  We dropped off the window, paid in advance, and picked it up about 2 days later.  They were very quick.  We have all original windows and storms, so we didn't want new windows, just the glass replaced.  We were happy with this service and plan to use them in the future.

They did a quality job, and I thought the pricing was fair.

Phone ordered the shelves (located firm on Angie's list). Described my shelves by dimensions and non-technically. Didn't know that I had Polished edges. They did. These guys are good. Shelves received are ever-so-slightly oversized which may be my measurement, but two of the four shelves are slightly larger than the other pair -  two could be made to fit by flipping the pegs in the cabinet; the last two had to be literally squeezed / forced into the cabinet. An oversized shelf by 1/16 of an inch or less could force this. In the future, I would err 1/8 of an inch on the small side.

Excellent experience. I called on Friday afternoon before a long weekend and made an appt. for early the following week. The representative arrived promptly at the scheduled time, took measurements (it took about 10 minutes) and advised that the replacement glass would be ready in approx. a week. A week later I got a call that the glass was in -- we scheduled installation for the next morning and within 30 minutes of arrival they had installed both windows. Very polite/efficient/neat.

Excellent. I called in the a.m. and they came right away to see what was needed. Installers were there same day in the afternoon. Job is done and looks great and price was reasonable.

My mother returned to Pittsburgh to find that the glass in her wooden front door was cracked. I selected two vendors from Angie's list and she called them; they both had answering services and promised to return her call. When she hadn't heard from either, she called Steel City Glass back and was given a quote for the repair. The next day someone came, repaired the glass and cleaned up. She was very happy with their work and professional manner.

I took the trunk into the shop. They measured the trunk's top (20 x 33.5) and determined the circumference for the rounded corners. They used 1/4 glass with polished finish edges. It took about 2 weeks before the glass top was ready. It was well worth the wait. They did an excellent job. I was surprised that the price was only $35.

Very polite and helpful. Offered to do the work the same day I brought the windows in. I didn't need them till the next day, and they were ready early that morning when I showed up. Price was extremely reasonable and quality great.

So, I like to learn lessons that are generally expensive. I left my patio umbrella up one day, to come home to it sitting in the middle of my yard and my patio table top shattered into a million pieces. I first stopped at Home Depot (were I bought the set), but they said they don't offer replacement tops and to try this one company. I called them and they quoted me $275+tax. (Argh! That's half the price of the set!) I went online, and found another company in the area, they quoted $231. This made me optimistic that I could do better, so I went into Angie's List, and found/called Steel City Glass. They were the low-ball at $160+tax. I was a little worried because they were so much cheaper, but it looks great. They were timely (done in 8 days), and they even waited a couple of extra minutes for me on Friday afternoon so I could pick it up! I'm very impressed, and would definitely use them again.

Great. Answered the phone, came out the same day. I had previously gone through yellow pages and couldn't get anyone to call me back.

The service representative was very careful in determining exactly what we wanted. The glass was ready when promised, and it fits precisely in the lamp shade. In addition, they suggested, and gave us, a number of small rubber dots for use to cushion the glass against pressure when it is sandwiched into the other parts of the light fixture.
