It went very well, very respectful of property and professional.

Mike showed up and got the job done. water heater was a bit expensive but there's a 6 year warranty.

The job went well and the Plumber/owner was professional. I thought the cost was a little high, but had nothing to compare it with The job took less than a hour and a half.I would have no problem calling him again.

Mike is very trustworthy and does great work. I recommend him to everyone I know.

They are a friend of my dad's.  It cost $525.  I would grade them A's across the board.

I cannot recommend Mike more highly. Truly lucky to have him taking care of my furnace and AC system.  I've been using him for about 4 years now and he's just great. He's prompt, he over delivers and his prices are more than fair. He's very responsive and he only does the work that needs to be done.  He's come to my house on short notice and really helped me out of a jam.  He seems to really enjoy doing what he does.  He's honest and counts on word of mouth advertising and repeat business.  He'll never try to replace your flux capacitor or upgrade your di-lithium crystals.  He's very thorough - my furnace checkup took about an hour.  He even came back a week later - at no charge - to check to see if the condensate was still leaking. It wasn't.  Give Mike a try. You won't regret it.

MIke is very reliable and honest, responds quickly and arrives promptly at the agreed upon time.  He explained the situation and let me decide whether to repair or replace. I will definitely use him in the future for my HVAC and plumbing needs and I have recommended him to family and friends.   

I live 5 hours from Pittsburgh and needed help with my deceased fathers house. I initially used Spoons because of their Saturday hours for an air conditioning repair. I thought it would be a real problem to coordinate the repair work from 300 miles away but Spoons was more than willing to coordinate their service visits with the times my fathers friend and the realtor was available. I wasn't involved with the scheduling at all.
During the period of time that we were trying to sell my fathers house Spoons came out four times; the first time was to repair an air conditioner around my sisters schedule who was in Pittsburgh for a wedding, The next time it was to winterize his house in preparation for the winter and when we had a buyer and the home inspection was required Spoons worked with the realtor so the home inspection and the bank's appraisal could be done and then prior to the closing of the house Spoons came back to my fathers house and made sure there were not any plumbing or furnace issues resulting from the cold winter weather. All this was done without my having to travel 5 hours to be there.
The prices were always extremely reasonable for the work performed and scheduling the work through Cathy the office manager was always a pleasure. My only regret is that Spoons is in Pittsburgh instead of in my current neighborhood. I can only hope that the realtor, who I believe had as good of an experience with Spoons as I did, can send business their way.
My dad's house was recently sold and I appreciate all of the help Cathy and Michael provided. It sure made my life easier.

It went without a hitch as Mike's work generally does. Mike is a conscientious vendor who tells you what needs to be done in order to accomplish the job. He is extremely thorough and very professional. When he has completed a job, you know what he did, why he did it and whether or not there may be some issues for future repair. His cost is reasonable and his service is excellent. I would recommend him without hesitation and have recommended him to my neighbors and friends.

Mike's awesome! His prices are fair. He shows up on time. He explains everything he's going to do. He makes suggestions that make sense. He can do triage and tell you what needs to be fixed right now, what can wait and what doesn't need to be done. Let me elaborate on that last point: he actually talked me out of a small job that would have taken him an additional 10 minutes that he could have easily billed me $50.00 to do. He's honest, personable (OK, chatty), has a lot of energy and really seems to enjoy his work. I hope I only have to call Mike for my annual HVAC checkups, but if I ever need him for a repair or a plumbing project, I won't hesitate call him. He's done work for me twice and I'd recommend him to anybody. Two thumbs, way up!

Well, I needed Mike for a repair and he didn't hesitate to schedule an appointment for me in less than 24 hours - on a Sunday no less! Everything I wrote in the previous paragraph still holds true. This is one hard working, honest guy. Give him a shot, you won't be sorry.

I got a call back quickly and an appointment was set up at a time that worked well for me. Arrived on time, explained the job as he went along, cleaned up the area after completion of job, spelled out exactly what he was charging me for, etc. Overall, a good experience.
