Description of Work: They gutted and re-plumbed my entire house with updated PVC fixtures. They also installed a partial new stack and a new bathtub. The majority of the project was smooth sailing, however we ran into trouble when the owner was not around. I dealt with some employees that had seemingly assumed a job wasn't able to be done all the while the solution was very simple. I figured it out and they completed the job swiftly after that, but the bossman accompanied them. The owner was great and dealt with my concerns about his employees in a professional and timeley manner. I think this comapny has a good man in charge. I would just tweak some of the employees attitudes when the bossman is not looking. Overall, the projects were successful and completed. I would use them again due to my loyalty to the owner, ease of communication with the owner, professionalism from the leaders of the company, and pricing.

Description of Work: I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling in a duplex. They ripped a whole in the ceiling and replaced all the drain pipes from the bath tub above for $700. The next day the leak was still there. They came back out and said the faucet to the shower was leaking and needed to be replaced for $400. I asked why didn't they address this the day before when they were out and I was told that it was my bad luck that the leak just started the next day. Mind you that this same guy had just replaced the same shower faucet on the other side of the duplex a month before. I ended up just replacing the washers and now the leak is gone.

 + -1 moreOur A/C unit was switching on and off so they came out and filled up with freon. The unit leaked again and we wished they had found that leak on their first visit. They have since replaced the coil and the unit is now working just fine and has had no further problems with it.
Description of Work: South Hills Plumbing had previously replaced our compressor 3 years ago and returned for a coil replacement and freon charge. They've also worked in our basement bathroom, which had a leaky drain. They charged us $110 for the drain replacement and $950 for the A/C work.

 + -1 moreI AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE PEOPLE AND THE WORKMANSHIP. SO FAR, THINGS HAVE FUNCTIONED WITHOUT A HITCH. THIS NEW UNIT IS MUCH MORE ENERGY EFFICIENT THAN THE OLD ONE.

 + -1 moreWHILE HE WAS THERE TO UNPLUG THE SINK, HE CREATED A SLOW LEAK. IT CAME THROUGH THE CEILING. HE CAME BACK OUT AND HE SAID "THESE THINGS JUST HAPPEN". I HAD TO HAVE MY WHOLE BATHROOM WALL DRY WALLED, SANDED. HE CAME OUT FOR A WATER HEATER THAT NEEDED A THERMO COUPLE, SPENT 2 HOURS LOOKING FOR PART. I FINALLY FOUND THE PART AT LOWE'S. HE CHARGED ME FOR THE 2 HOURS IT TOOK TO FIND THE PART. HE DID THE WORK SATISFACTORILY. IT WAS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING.
