SOUTH HILLS CEMENT CONTRACTING

The slope of my driveway is very difficult. They got the water away from my house. They did an excellent job with grading the driveway with the water away from the house.

The work started and ended on time as promised and communicated.  The contractor was professional and considerate.  The crew approached the job efficiently and completed the prep and installation as though they were working on their own property.  There were no surprises, extra add ons or unexpected issues.  I could not be happier with the work.  I would recommend this company to anyone seeking a cement contractor.

This company is extraordinary in their work ethic, attention to detail and cooperation. As the project was in progress, they approached me over modifications to enhance the look of the walkway. Although, the changes added cost to the contractor, he did not pass those through to me. Since the installation, the contractor has telephoned me twice to be sure we are satisfied and happy with his work.

BOB DID EXCELLENT JOB OF INSTALLING THE CONCRETE. LOOKS VERY NICE. HAS NICE SWIRLS. FORMAT IS EXCELLENT. HOWEVER, I DON'T FEEL THE CONCRETE PROVIDED WAS HIGH QUALITY. THERE ARE RUST SPOTS APPEARING IN THE DRIVEWAY WHERE CARS DID NOT PARK. THERE'S A 6 INCH HAIRLINE CRACK AT THE TOP OF THE DRIVEWAY. THERE ARE BUBBLES AT THE SURFACE, LOOKS LIKE TINY CRATERS CREATED BY AIR POCKETS. I THINK BOB SHOULD USE BETTER QUALITY CONCRETE, AS HE DOES EXCELLENT WORK. BETWEEN BOB AND THE CONCRETE COMPANY, THEY PASSED THE BUCK ABOUT THE RUST AND AIR POCKETS. ALSO, ACCORDING TO THE CONCRETE COMPANY, BOB DIDN'T GIVE ME COMPLETE INFO ON MAINTAINING THE CONCRETE.
