RUN (SIMQU ELECTRIC) This electrician Art and his work is (HORRIBLE) It took him 2 days to put up a less than 10 lb chandelier with nothing on it . He will give you one price HOURLY then try to charge you 3 times the amount. He was unorganized never had the Tools OR SCREWS OR THINGS he needed where he was working. Would have to go to his truck to get the parts the truck was across the street from my home so that took more time. He did this at least 8 times the (FIRST DAY) and 9 TIMES THE SECOND DAY. Claims he had to Buy certain materials but when you ask to see the receipt or tools he had to buy he (REFUSED) to show it to you(Scam) Moves like a turtle. My daughter had to put the plastic up in the area he was working (BECAUSE HE DID NOT) TO KEEP THE DUST from the (LITTLE) chiseling he did in the ceiling dust would not get on everything. THE SECOND DAY WAS LONGER AND WORST THAN THE FIRST DAY I had to assist him in holding the chandelier so he could connect the wires. He PUT THE CHANDLIER ON THE CEILING (CROCKED) so then I had to assist him in TAKING THE CHANDALIER BACK OFF THE CIELING - AND ASSIST HIM PUTTING THE CHANDIELER BACK UP—AGAIN – AND HE STILL DIDN’T GET IT STRAIGHT. FOR A JOB THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN FINISHED IN A FEW HOURS ON THE SAME DAY—IF YOU DON’T WANT A HORRIBLE JOB WIITH A UNORGANIZED, SLOW , UNPROFESSIONAL , OVERPRICED ELECTRICIAN THAT TAKES 2 DAYS TO DO A JOB THAT SHOULD ONLY TAKE A COUPLE HOURS – RUNNNNNNNNNN

Working with Simqu Electric was a stress free experience for us from start to finish. Art responded to my initial phone call for an estimate within 24 hours and worked the appointment around our work schedules. He arrived promptly and took notes as we had multiple jobs we wanted done. He actively checked our existing electric and access areas, he educated us on the options we had for service upgrade and gave us a recommendation that suited our needs. He followed up with a written quote as promised within 48 hours delivered by email as we had agreed. When I added another item to the list, he adjusted the quote accordingly. Once we committed to him for the work, Art again worked with our schedule to provide the services. The work was broken up over three visits, with our agreement, as we coordinated with the weather for the outside work. Art completed all of the work himself except for the service upgrade, in which he had another electrician with him. That job took approximately 6 hours on a 95 degree summer day. Art was very accommodating and checked if I agreed to the location of the new fixtures before committing to their placement. He cleaned up carefully after himself, removed all packaging and debris and even removed the excess dirt from the installation of the lamp post. He was especially careful about the setting of the motion detector range in the driveway as the spotlights are very high up and will not be adjusted by us.
Overall, Art was incredibly responsive to our needs. The quality of the work was excellent. He demonstrated his knowledge and experience and two months later everything is working wonderfully and we are very pleased. His price was fair and competitive with other quotes I received.

was thorough and effective

Our house was hit by an electrical surge from the power company lines outside the house causing major damage to our house lines. Simqu rep came out quickly, replaced the damaged lines. He even happend to be around when my husband was dealing with our insurance company and he spoke directly to the insurance rep on the phone telling him exactly what happened in his professional opinion.

I gave a and quot;Band quot; to cost only because who wants to spend $2000 on wiring -lol? In all honesty, I don't know that it would not have cost as much at any other electrical business.

Definitely would use Simqu again. Overfall, quick, efficient and fair.

I lost power to half of my house and did not know where to start looking for the problem. I first got in touch with Jeff from Simqu around noon and talked about the issue for a few minutes over the phone. He was currently working on a big job but he made it out to my house by 3 pm. He took the time to inspect my entire system to see if anything was old or outdated. Since I had new electrical service installed 10 years ago, my circuit breaker box, main breaker, and meter were in good shape. Suspecting that I had an issue with a leg coming from the street, Jeff wiggled the loops on the side of my house. Hearing some crackling/welding sounds, he identified the damaged leg and replaced it quickly. He showed me the damaged connector and it was black and brittle. It had definitely been a fire hazard for a long time. Jeff is a younger guy about my age, and he didn't mind visiting a little while he worked. Very friendly and promptly showed up when needed. Cost was very reasonable for the time he spent here. I have recommended him to other people that had electrical problems due to the 2010 snow storm.

They're very prompt. When I need them, they can come pretty quickly. I've recommended them to my neighbors, who've used them, too.
