Shiny Happy Cleaners LLC

The work was done pretty poorly. Tried to contact the owner/manager a few times and it usually took a follow-up email to get a response weeks later. The work went downhill and wasn't stellar to begin with. Much of our house is tiled and they don't use real mops so all of the dirt just gets pushed into the grout. It's actually in worse shape than it was when they started and we have to pay somebody to come and do a deep cleaning now before we can even think of hiring another service.
 

I was disappointed with the service that Shiny Happy Cleaners provided.  They were often late, despite the many times that I reiterated that timing was critical for my schedule.  They failed to perform the basics of house cleaning - changing linens, placing trash bags in trash cans and dusting.  These were all services that were supposed to be included in the price. 
Their work was very superficial and the cleaning crew was often rude and treated the job like they were doing me a favor.  Heather, the owner, was responsive when I gave feedback, however, her responsiveness was not reflected in the quality of services.  It was hard to tell when they had actually cleaned beyond the noticeable vacuum marks on the rug. 
I cannot recommend this cleaning company nor will I use them again.

Let me first say that I am super organized and a major stickler for cleanliness. I usually clean my house by myself as well, if not better, than cleaning services I've had in the past.
I was extremely pleased when Shiny Happy Cleaners was able to quickly get my house ship-shape and sparkly as I moved out. I wanted the new owners to not have to worry about dust, dirt, etc. and the cleaning crew did an excellent job! Lots of attention to detail, such as the little spaces in between each spindle on the stairwells, thorough baseboard cleaning, window sills and around the locks, they even cleaned each and every cabinet and drawer, as well as the ones in the fridge! All for a super-reasonable price!
I was so pleased that when I bought my new house I called them back for the same thing before I moved my stuff in. Unfortunately the sellers left a ton of junk and a messy house. SHC's crew made me feel as if I had gone through the entire house the way only I would have done in the first place if I had the time to do it alone.
After the initial walk-through and estimate (which was excellently priced considering the job at hand) the appointment times were set. The day came and two people arrived at my house ready to take care of business. They were super quiet and almost invisible the entire time. I have a dog and they were very careful not to let him out, or in any of the rooms in which he doesn't belong.
Not an inch was spared, they even got the ceiling fan blades in all the rooms! Hooray for a cleaning company that is as OCD as I am!
I will definitely be having them back when necessary! I have had other cleaning companies before and none have been this good, timely, and reasonably priced. I am a repeat, and future customer for sure!

After reading another review on this site, I realize that my experience with Shiny Happy Cleaners is not unique. When I first contracted with Shiny Happy to clean my home, they did a really great job. Over the past several months, the quality and attention to detail has been severely lacking. I noted areas where there were issues that I checked regularly thinking that might help, but those areas were not even fixed. We tried to work together to find a solution, but things did not get better. In the end, my perception was that they just wanted me to go away, so I did.

At the beginning when Heather was getting started with the company, she did an excellent job. I had nothing but good things to say about her company and recommended her service to many of my friends. As the company succeeded and she grew by hiring other cleaning teams, the work quality has unfortunately gone downhill. Over the past year, I have been in contact with her on a regular basis trying to address overall quality issues but in the end, I must go elsewhere. I was having problems with thoroughness of cleaning and it seemed like the crews that have been working on my house are not really interested in doing an excellent job anymore. In addition I reported to Heather multiple times that her crew (of 2 people) was not spending the 2.25 hrs at my house that I was paying for ($80 every 2 weeks). When I asked her to add cleaning the edging of the rooms with an edge tool on the vacuum, her team reported that my house has too many animals to clean now (I own 1 dog and only spend 50% of my time here). Given that I was generally unhappy with the quality of work, she requested that I find another service.

What a relief to find a cleaning company that's reliable, thorough, and professional! In my experience, this is a low-key, 21st century company. Like the green products, like the email scheduling, like the email reminders before the scheduled appointment...

I really like that there's a regular crew assigned to my house, and that Heather came the first time to supervise and orient them to my house. The crew is not sketchy at all, and they don't reek of cigarette smoke.

I called Shiny Happy Cleaners because I wanted to start having my home cleaned once a month, and I was happy about their and quot;green productsand quot; policy (both because I like to be and quot;greenand quot; when I can and I am sensitive to chemical smells from most cleaners). I heard back right away from Heather, the owner. She was friendly and quick to reply to my questions (we corresponded in email). She visited my house a few days after to give me a quote for services. I haven't had my house cleaned before so I wasn't sure about what to expect price wise. I think the prices are comparable to what I've heard from others (maybe a bit more because of the green products, but not much), so I decided to try one cleaning and see if I liked their work.

The day of the cleaning Heather arrived with the and quot;cleaning teamand quot; - a manager (Jeffery) and two others - to introduce them and give them a tour of the house. I work from home so I was there the whole time. All three of them worked silently and solidly for 2 hours, and I was really happy with the result. The house was cleaner than it had been in a long time, especially the shower and the kitchen sink. I was particularly impressed with how they pointed out things that I hadn't noticed (missing grout that could lead to rot, etc).

I've now hired them to clean once a month. I had my second visit today and was inspired to post. There were two cleaners today, Jeffery and Rene, and they did a fantastic job. Again, I am impressed by the attention to detail and their thoughtfulness.

We have had Shiny Happy Cleaners clean our house every 2 weeks for approximately 9 months and have been extremely satisfied customers. They are very thorough and detail oriented and we look forward to coming home to a wonderfully cleaned house every 2 weeks. Their prices are probably higher than average, but with a focus on using environmentally sensitive products and methods, this sort of price is expected. I have worked at home for some of their visits, but the majority of the time, they clean while we are out of the house. When I have been home they were very courteous and flexible in their order of cleaning. They are very flexible and communicative. We have had to reschedule several times, sometimes on short notice, and they have been very accommodating.

They are really great. They are very detail oriented. They do things like my toaster, which most cleaning companies don't do. They are really conscientious of my property, which is really nice. They are really friendly. They are really, really cool people. . I don't do cleaning regularly; I just do it occasionally.

This is a high quality company that provides excellent service.

We used Shiny Happy Cleaners for a couple of months until we moved. They were a wonderful company to work with. The owner operator Heather is very sweet and extremely responsive. They are a green cleaning company so they use natural and organic products. They have a detailed website, which is great. Heather cleaned our house along with one helper. They are very thorough. Unlike other cleaning services we have used, we don't notice missed areas after they leave. SHC was flexible with working around our renovations, and did not upgrade the price after we completed our half bath or after we added furniture to a previously empty room. I highly recommend Shiny Happy Cleaners!
