Aside from being very professional and great to deal with, she found us add'l information re: hotels for our return layover in Madrid, and surprised us with a lower price on the tickets after we'd already agreed to the higher price. You can't ask for more than for someone who keeps working for you after they have your business. :) We are about to book another trip and I am looking forward to doing business with Dawn again."

I would highly recommend using Shadyside Travel. Before I contacted them, I looked at airline and hotel prices on Expedia and Priceline to get a ballpark figure of how much I would be spending on my trip to Europe. Shadyside Travel was able to book airfare and hotel accommodations significantly below these discount services. They were also able to find a direct flight to my destination city, and to get a great price on a hotel in the area where I wanted to stay. They took the hassle out of my travel arrangements, and made the whole process easy and straightforward. I would strongly recommend contacting Shadyside Travel when you are making your travel arrangements, as they will likely be able to save you money, and make the whole process much less stressful. The travel agent I worked with was Stephanie, who was very helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. A+

We had a wonderful experience, they save us some money, and gave us good suggestions, and I have recommended them to friends. They gave us a lot of helpful hints about where to stay, and different sites. We did not go on a tour, we wanted to do this ourselves, and they were very helpful. They picked a hotel for us in Switzerland which was wonderful.

My son had used Dawn at Shadyside Travel for his trip to Hawaii last year and we were very pleased.  When I was unable to book my 13 year old granddaughter's flight online through the discount services, I went on to Angie's list to see if Shadyside Travel was listed and was pleased to see that it was.  Dawn got me a better price than what I could have gotten for an adult on Priceline and was wonderful to deal with again. 
When my granddaughter missed her flight on Sunday and ended up doing standby, Dawn noticed that her return flight was cancelled and called me Monday morning to find out what had happened.  Although USAir actually straightened out the problem themselves, it was great to know that Dawn was on top of the details.

My daughter is coming over with her entire family, which includes six children, and this travel agency was able to get her a really good price on air fair.  I found this travel agency to be very personable.  The agent really put a lot of effort into finding this flight for my daughter.  She saved my daughter a lot of money.  I would use them again.
