They just didn't do as good a job as cleanup. I kind of had to sit there and supervise and make sure clean this up. He was trying to half a** the job. The last time they were on my property, they had the wrong address. They were getting ready to cut down my cherry tree. I would not recommend them and I will not use again. They did communicate if I called them. They showed up in the mornings. I don't want to see somebody else get sc***d by them.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received, or I should say did not receive, from this company. On Sept. 23, the company rep, John, came to my home and assessed the drainage problem in my back yard. We discussed several options to remedy the situation and finally agreed that a French drain would be the most effective. He said he would get back to me with an estimate. Since I did not hear back from John within a reasonable period of time, I called his office 10 days later on October 3. The person answering the phone said she would contact John to determine the status of the estimate. The next day I received an estimate via email. It was very non-descript, referring to work being done “per my discussion with John” and it indicated for me to sign the estimate, return it along with a 50% deposit, and the work would be completed within 14 days of their receiving the contract (weather permitting). On October 6, I called the office and John picked up the call. I explained that given the $$$ involved in this project, I expected an estimate that detailed what work would be performed and not just a generic comment like “install a French drain per discussion.” We talked about including a clean-out drain as part of the installation, and John indicated that was a good idea and he would provide follow up with a detailed estimate so that I would know exactly what to expect before signing the contract.
I gave John what I considered to be more than a reasonable amount of time to re-submit the estimate to me. On October 15 (9 days after our last discussion), I called and spoke to John again, asking about the status of my revised estimate. He said they are really busy and have a lot of jobs to finish up and that he doesn't think he'll be able to do my job before the weather turns. I said, “I've been waiting all this time to get this job finalized and now you tell me you can't do the job?” He said he didn't “mean to be rude” and said he wanted to talk to Brian (whoever that is) and he promised to call me back within 10 minutes. Well, 10 minutes came and went 7 days ago and here I am left in the lurch. Given this late date it would be unrealistic for me to find another contractor. Such a waste of my time and energy. Surely, John knew what projects where on the calendar for the remainder the year and should have been able to determine whether they could take on another project before already committing to one, which is exactly what he did when he sent the estimate to me.
This guy showed up like a landscaper, but disappeared like a magician!

it was terrible i don't know where to start. they did do a good job of removing the loose concrete, but when it came to the yard thats a completely different story. I was to have four tri axles of fill dirt and one tri axle of topsoil delivered to my house. the fill dirt got delivered to my house the night before they performed the work and they only delivered 3 tri axles and the topsoil they delivered was not topsoil it was dirt and clay with rocks in it. i went to work that morning, they worked all day and by the time i was home they were done. needless to say i pulled in the driveway and was immediately disappointed. there were big clumps of dirt through out the whole yard and rocks everywhere. i then called and asked them about all of this and they said the topsoil was grade 3 topsoil and i would have rocks in it, which is a lie. if you order topsoil from them make sure you say screened top soil because if not you'll get rocks and clay in it. i also asked them about only getting 3 triaxles of fill dirt and why i didn't get four and he was hesitant and said ya i think we only used 3. so right there they were trying to make money on me, but i asked them to seed the yard for free and they did, so that made up for that. with them being short on fill there were valleys and bumps everywhere. they came back 2 days later to straighten things up then went on there way. four days later it rained and i noticed puddles at the side and bottom of my yard. i then called them back and they decided i needed more topsoil to fill that in and charged me $200 more dollars which why would i have to pay if they just did the job right and not short me dirt. so they brought more dirt for the third time and filled everything in and i was to meet them after work to pay them which i did and and the sprinkler was on so after they left i walked over to shut the water off and sank, the work they just did was saturated. here we are 3 weeks later and i still can't walk on the yard and have to fix this myself costing me MORE money. I'm a pretty fair guy and just wanted the work to be done correctly. all in all i am very disappointed and would NOT recommend them to anyone!!

Schwartzmiller came to my home and landscaped my lawn on both sides of my driveway where a concrete company left large gaps between my driveway and lawn. Ground repair and seeding was also done on the side of my home as well as repairing the ground beside of my garage that was left unattended by the concrete workers would did a lousy job on my driveway. In addition to repairing my lawn and reseeding that area, they also repaired the ground around and The who did the work were very professional and very pleasant to work with and try to accommodate all of our requests.

I have been using their services for the past 5 years. Very responsive and perform all tasks well. When I have a problem, I can call the office and know that it will be taken care of. The best aspect of working with them is that they will not and quot;completeand quot; the job till I am satisfied. I have called them back to take care of jobs till I am happy with it and they arrive and take care of it every time.

Outstanding.. no problems

First I thought they did a 10 job. I even told them on the phone when I had a billing question they did a good job. Then I started looking closer.

They did an 8 job on a scale of 1-10. The guy didn't completely clean the beds and left some moss there until I said something. They didn't get all the weeds so I spend another few hours cleaning up weeds they were to lazy to get. They came up through the mulch after it was put on. Let's be clear on this point. What I cleaned up was on top of the fabric not under it. It would have taken another 45 minutes for him to completely removed all the weeds.

Also he didn't evenly spread the mulch. Some areas there was too much and other not enough mulch, and some area the fabric wasn't covered.

It wasn't that the job was that bad, just a little more time and effort it could have been terrific! For 700.00 I thought I would get a Holmes on Homes job. Guess not.

I chose them because they were close. They were expensive. The quality of work was good. They were responsive, punctual and professional.

Quick, clean and efficient service. All it takes is a phone call to their office and I know the job will be done. They have taken the headaches of lawn care off my head! Prices are good and the guys who come to do the job are knowledgeable and friendly.

All I had to do was tell them where the bush was. They made two trips and by the time I got him from work, it was done. They did well for me.

They did an excellent job. I have been using them for regular lawn care (mowing) for the past year and they have always been punctual and do a good job. I have also had them do occasional yardwork. Prices are good and its a load off my mind since i dont have to keep with the lawn mowing or mulching or other such projects.

They are very responsive. They assigned one guy to my place, and I can contact him on his cell phone. They are responsive to customers needs.
