Bob Thimons has painted my home in the past, but not the entire house. I contacted him a few months ago for a bid, he came at my convenience, and mailed the bid to me a couple of days later. (FYI his bids include the cost of the paint) We discussed my timing for the project, and after I took forever (!) to select the paint color, we agreed on the time frame. About a week before the start date, Bob came back for a walk-thru to discuss (with the emphasis on my convenience) the schedule--which rooms to be done on which day, and what I needed to do--remove fragile items from china closet, clear "stuff" from kitchen counters, etc., before the job started. Bob has a lovely habit of saying: "Whatever you want"...sort of makes you feel like you're the customer, and he just wants to work with you on the project and get it done right. What a concept!--all too rare these days.  He and his two man crew came promptly at 8:00 a.m. every day of the job, and immediately got to work. Bob and his guys are very pleasant, very detail oriented, very hard-working, very diligent and very careful with their work. I think they used miles of tape, carefully taping off all the trim and baseboards. There is not a drop of paint on any cabinets, furniture or flooring--just paint where it's supposed to be! It's kind of startling to find people who are so concerned with doing a good job. Honestly, I don't think they would be any more particular if they were painting their own homes! Conscientious! that's the word! Another apt descriptive is "neat-freak" ! If you want a superior job done...if you want people you can trust in your home for days...if you want to be treated with consideration and respect...if you want to be completely satisfied with the quality of work...you need to contact: Robert Thimons, Jr. Painting Contractor.

He is very affordable, neat and courteous. I give him a B on responsiveness, because he doesn't always return calls right away.
