RB Installations

They pay good attention to detail. They did a fabulous job. My overall experience with them was excellent.

We were buying our flooring for two bedrooms through Lumber Liquidators. We used their installers and were lucky to draw RB Installations. Ron came to our house, gave us the estimate and list of materials. It was a busy time for them, just before the holidays. When the flooring came in they delivered it quickly. (Flooring must "adjust" for two weeks before it can be installed. Remember that when scheduling.) Ron was able to schedule us in between other jobs, on a weekend, and they were finished before Christmas. His people were polite and professional. They had removed the old carpeting and cleaned up after the job. They were punctual and set to work as soon as they arrived. I could barely  get them to eat the cookies and doughnuts I had laid out for them. We would definitely use the company again. The floors look great.

From the time I contacted Ron (owner) until the final crew left our house, they completed their job with care, professionalism and pride. 

My first meeting was with Ron to discuss the scope of the job and to get an estimate.  He actually showed up,  ON TIME !!!! 

He was very detailed in his review of the job, was willing to spend as much time as needed to explain the job, made recommendations and explained each step of how they would install the flooring.  He followed up (on time) with a DETAILED proposal.  Everything (materials and work to be performed) was detailed, by room, in the estimate (other installers that I interviewed submitted estimates like "install 1,000 SF of oak flooring for $xxxx.xx").

RB was very competitive with their price and willing to work with us to finalize a deal.

RB's crew arrived on the first day at 9:00 am (sharp), as agreed upon (not within the "9:00-11:00" window that some other contractors work in).  His crews were polite, careful not to track in dirt and got right to work.  They took GREAT pride in the work that they performed and were very accommodating when ask to make changes or fix a "problem".  

Room transitions were accomplished seamlessly, boards were staggered properly and time was taken to blend color variations perfectly.  All of our furniture was handled with great care and placed back in the original positions.  The job was not rushed yet was completed on time.

The job turned out fantastic.  Beyond our expectations.

I feel that we got a world-class installation at a fair price and I would recommend RB Installations to anyone, for any flooring job, no matter how big or small.

Overall everything went well. The crew showed up when expected and put in a good full day's work. This was a large job which took six days with an average of 3 installers on site. The only problem which I have found are some areas where the crew doing the main floor were a bit careless and gouged the walls. I was given a fair credit to compensate. Prior to deciding on the firm to use I talked with two other installers. Ron, the owner of RB Installations gave the best advice overall, but none seemed off the wall. I asked him about one option that another installer suggested and he agreed that it was a valid way to do the work. The final selection was based on price and the product selection. We found flooring that best matched what we wanted from Lumber Liquidators. RB is one of their referred installers and using them provides a warranty that potentially makes it easier to obtain a repair than just an installers good faith guarantee.

Ron came to the house for the estimate and was thorough. He explained the installation process and offered great suggestions. The workers came on the expected day and the installation was complete in 2.5 days as promised. The work is beautiful and the crew was professional and punctual. Everything was done perfectly. They cleaned everything up, and put the furniture back in place. It went very well in spite of the fact that we scheduled this one week before Christmas.
