Recently engaged Quality Granite Outlet for Quartz Countertop and Backslash in our kitchen renovation, including a waterfall edge peninsula. I have been holding off to post this review because I was hoping things would turnaround, but feel obligated to warn other people. First, there were numerous issues with the installation. The measurements must have been wrong and the installers did a poor job. One part of the overhang is like a half inch longer than the rest of the overhang. The backsplash was cut improperly and doesn't go to the edge of our window. There were numerous stains on the quartz and underside of the waterfall. The way the cuts were made the veining doesn't flow throughout. The spacing behind the backsplash is large. They completely failed to caulk parts of the backsplash and peninsula leaving huge gaps. They did send someone out to remedy some of the issues, but once quartz is cut there isn't that much you can do for mistakes in measurements and/or cutting. This person told me that you cannot expect it to be perfect and said the overhang didn't look that noticeable now that the stove was installed to hide it. Now as the final straw, we have had the quartz for less than two months (three weeks of which we were on vacation and didn't use the kitchen at all), and the edge cracked by simply bumping it. I called to request a repair, as I presume there was some issue with the way the installers cut or finished the edge to make it that easy to chip. The response from Quality Granite is they are going to charge me $200.00 for a repair of brand new countertops. This is unacceptable to me. I would not recommend this company at all. If I could afford to rip out the entire backsplash and just tile it, I would at this point. It will never look right. When you spend this kind of money, you should get what you ask for. I am now going to have to hire someone else to fix the chip in my brand new countertop, as I refuse to pay this company another dime. If I could give them less than one star, I would. Find someone else.

Don’t let the showroom and prices fool you as you get what you pay for…..yes their prices are low. The showroom and in-home measurement experience were good. The installation experience was a nightmare. Installation was scheduled for July 31, 2020. Since we did not receive a confirmation call from QGO on Thursday, I called around 4:00 PM on Thursday to confirm the appointment and was told yes everything is on schedule we will be there tomorrow morning between 8:30 am and 9:30 am. No one arrived or called so at 11:00 am (one and half hours late) I called to see what the problem was and I was told that they decided to do another job before mine for one of their big client’s and they would be doing my job next and that someone should have called to let us know but they forgot. At 12:30, the two “installers” finally showed up. Upon arrival they let us know that this was their first and second day working for QGO and complained that the tools on the truck were not organized properly and began asking me to borrow tools (drill bits) as they saw some tools in the house. Next, one of the installers is on the phone to someone asking how to install a sink and cut out a cooktop. I hear that another “installer”/ manager is coming to cut out the cooktop. These “installers” reminded me of watching “Laurel & Hardy” and we feared that they were going to damage something by their carelessness which they did. They damaged the dishwasher when they installed the bracket for it and forgot to lower the dishwasher a quarter inch to account for the bracket. This drove the Philip screws that hold the dishwasher in place into the top of the dishwasher door which scratched it in two places. Next the “installer”/manager arrives and walks into my house and right pass me to talk to his workers without even acknowledging me. Acting like a big shot he shows one of the new employees how to cutout the cooktop. When the slab is brought in and set in place he sees that he cutout the cooktop a half and inch forward of where it should be located because the cooktop and cabinet fronts cannot occupy the same place. He blames the cabinet fronts for his mistake but luckily, because he didn’t follow the installation directions for the cooktop either (he also cut it out roughly a half inch larger in each dimension than specified by the instructions), after moving the cooktop around for a while he finds a sweet spot where the cooktop will cover most of his mistakes and says install it like this, declares success and leaves. The one “installer” does a great job on the seams. The “installers” then proceed to apply silicone caulk between the quartz countertop and the cabinets where the countertop sits. This is done by them spraying Windex on the cabinets and when questioned they say “silicone doesn’t stick to Windex and can be wiped off easily”. Silicone is smeared everywhere, and we tell them not to do that (these are newly refinished cabinets) but instead tape off the cabinets and we have blue tape. They refuse and tell us that “they have installed quartz in much better homes than this”. My wife spends quite a bit of time trying to get the silicone that was smeared all over the cabinets off that they failed to wipe off. They next attempt to finish the job by installing the backsplash (it’s now 6:00 pm) and there is a big gap (approximately one eighth an inch) between the backsplash and the countertop. My wife tells them that it doesn’t look good and is unacceptable and one of the “installers” tells her “well its acceptable to me” and they get mad and tell us “we have been accommodating you all day” and leave without cleaning the mess they created outside cutting the quartz. My wife calls the manager (that came to give instructions on cutting the cooktop) to complain and he returns the next day to fix the backsplash. When he arrives, I spent about ten minutes explaining to him why we are upset and when I finish he says to me “that’s 30 minutes of my life I’m not going to get back”. He then fixes the backsplash gaps and leaves. I contacted the manager Hong multiple times and asked to speak to the owner about my experience and just got the typical run around. This year I have had new soffit and facia, windows, garage doors, electrical panels, flooring and a bathroom remodeled. Every contractor/home Improvement business did an excellent job except for Quality Granite Outlet. Bottom line, the installation was sloppy, and workers were untrained, careless and disrespectful. I would get my granite and quartz elsewhere.

Wonderful experience from start to finish! After pricing laminate and being shocked at the cost, we decided to price granite after receiving a recommendation from a family friend for Quality Granite. I checked their website and decided that their promotional Package B granite at $38 SF installed would probably work fine for us. We were assisted at their showroom by a very friendly, professional woman named Hong who worked up a quick quote based on the 45 SF estimate we gave her - $1,950 total for a Package B granite, single-bowl sink and single-handled faucet. I was very happy with the price!
Two days later, their estimator, Vincent, came to measure the cabinets. What a wonderful guy! He was efficient, thoughtful and very helpful. We had a few questions and he took the time to thoroughly explain everything to us. After he had finished in the kitchen, we asked him if he could take a quick look at our shower which we were getting ready to tile. We wanted a granite or marble seat & threshold. He quickly measured them and advised us to come to the showroom to select a material so it could be priced. Then, to my surprise, the next day he called to let me know he was in the area and asked if he could make a template of the shower seat! That's real customer service! We went to the showroom that weekend and found a lovely granite remnant for those two pieces which added only $100 (furnish only) to our bill.
Missy called to confirm our pricing and set the installation date. I asked her if I could choose my slab and she sent me to Mont Granite in Crafton - again, I was really happy with the customer service there as well! Just a few days after I chose the granite, Quality Granite contacted me to let me know they could move up my installation by 3 days but we weren't quite ready so I had to decline.
On installation day (only one week later!), Vincent along with another gentleman returned. They did a great job navigating our old house to get the larger, L-shaped granite into the kitchen. The hole for the faucet was drilled out onsite. They installed the counters, bar, sink and they placed the faucet - we did the plumbing. I would say the entire install took maybe 2 hours (?). We are thrilled with our beautiful new counter tops and I've recommended Quality Granite to several people already!

Overall, we are happy we went with Quality Granite Center and we are really pleased with the results. Hong was very professional in her service, and the cabinet (and backsplash) installer, Victor, in particular did a great job. The granite turned out beautifully as well.
A couple of things I would note is that they don't have a huge selection of cabinets.
Also, you are considering them, you need to be comfortable that their location and office adjoins the warehouse, so the showroom, etc., is a bit bare bones. But, it truly was a great value; we have a beautiful kitchen for a very reasonable amount.

After a great deal of research and shopping (with many hours spent looking at slabs of granite, I chose to work with Quality Granite. By comparison, their prices are extremely reasonable.  My project was a facelift of my kitchen.  This included granite counter tops, a tile backsplash, an under-mount sink, and a new faucet.  Quality Granite had professionals do all of this work from the demo to the install to the tile work to the plumbing.  I loved the one-stop shopping. Although I didn?t get the sink or faucet from Quality, their tradespeople did all of the installation.
The woman with whom I worked (Hong) was knowledgeable and responsive.  She didn?t like the quality of the first slabs of granite and so she sent them back to the distributor.  I didn?t like the way one piece of the granite had been cut and fit against the wall.  The Company replaced it in days. I would choose to work with Quality Granite again, and I would recommend it to my neighbors.

I messages several providers on Angie's List looking for reasonably priced granite for an investment property. Missy from Quality Granite Outlet was the first person to respond. I sent drawings and she sent me some color options with estimated prices based on my drawings. We then set up an appointment for a measurement. A few other providers responded over the next couple days, but none of them could come close to the price I got from Missy on granite of the same quality. Eric came out for the measurement. He was very professional. The walls in the kitchen were not square, so the granite I wanted would not work. The slabs were prefabricated so they aren't made wide enough to compensate for the wall. He gave me the option of changing the color granite (the other colors come in full slabs) or cut the drywall and move the cabinets. I chose to cut the drywall and move the cabinets. Eric came back a second time to get the measurement, and make sure everything would work. It was good so we scheduled the install. The installers showed up on time, and got the job done quickly. They were also very professional. The installed counter tops look great. The seams aren't even noticeable unless you know they're there. I will continue to use Quality Granite Outlet for all of my properties.

Unfortunately I did not get to use the $300 discount because this installer also sells discounted remnants and the remnant came at a greater discount than $300 and both discounts could not be applied for the same purchase. The owner did give me the additional $100 that I paid for the Angies list coupon off of the purchase price but it probably should be noted that anyone interested in using this supplier should check the availability and price of remnants before purchasing the Angies coupon since both cannot be used for the same purchase.  Overall they were very nice and very professional although there was a bit of a language problem and I would be more careful in the future with exact measurements over the phone.

Everything went well as far as contacting, shopping and ordering the granite. Jade was very helpful, and courteous. She worked with me during my mini kitchen remodel. But I'm not happy with the end product. The countertops had measurement differences. This, after having someone come in for measurements 3 times and getting charged for travel charges. Again, Jade was nice about waiving one of the charges since I was not informed ahead of time about it. I tried calling back and left messages but did not get responses. It was as if, once the work gets done and payment goes through, the service ceases. That's sad since I was hoping to work with them for my bathroom countertops too.

I was installing a bathroom and bar and in a basement.  I needed a countertop for each.  After trying to work out a solution with US Marble through Home Depot (short version - the bar sink was a real problem), HD suggested I checkout remnant stone places.  I was just thinking what a hassle it would be.  I could not have been more wrong!
I went to Quality Granite Outlook and parked in the yard.  In freezing cold weather (recommend that you go on a warm day - if you have choice - or at least bring good gloves). I looked through their remnants outside and picked out two pieces of stone.  Missy (I think) came out with me and verified that the stone were available. She showed me some sinks (there were a few choices, and they have real bar sinks).  She explained that remnants are sold at a discount based on their size, but you only pay for the stone you use.  So the bathroom counter (36") was 40% and the remnant was only slightly larger than what I needed.  They bar counter (60") was only a 25% discount because the stone was much larger than I needed. Finishing and installation is the regular price.
I had a quote in under ten minutes and these much nicer stone counters with nice sinks came out about the same price as US Marble.  She immediately made two appoints for me, one with a week to measure and the other the following to install.  She called a couple of days before the second appointment to ask if I they could come a day earlier.  The installation went well, and we are really happy with the final product.

I was not at home when the installer came. My husband was home and became very apprehensive with his ability. The cuts were a little off. and they had to cut one of my cabinets and my drywall to make it work. But the finish product  looks perfect to me, just beautiful. And the price was right. I would recommend them to my friends.

I had been searching for weeks for granite countertops and went to several locations, but am glad I went with Quality Granite for several reasons. First, there is no pressure from them to buy. They take the time to answer your questions and don't hover. Their price is way less than most competitors. When I went to their supplier to pick out a slab, I was told they no longer carry it. Missy and Hong then immediately offered other solutions and sent me to their distributor in Shaler. BINGO! Found a beautiful slab (great customer service there too, btw) that was in my budget. I can't tell you how many places were several hundreds of dollars out of budget or would take weeks to get it installed.  Instead, I was able to get my granite counter tops, edging upgrade, sink and faucet cut-outs on budget AND have it done, delivered and installed in ONE WEEK.  From Missy and Hong at the front office, to the young man who measured the counterops, to the two gentleman who took less than 2 1/2 hours to install the countertops, I could not have been happier with the entire process.
