Sam Pace is an outstanding real estate agent. I relocated to Pittsburgh and was completely unfamiliar with the area. Sam was very helpful along the way, and knowledgeable. He always answers his phone or calls back immediately. He took us all over the suburbs and would show a property at a moment's notice. He is very professional and made time in his schedule whenever necessary. I would recommend him to anyone with real estate needs in Pittsburgh.

Christopher was efficient and always returned my calls. I moved from another state, and I was looking at 6 different cities. There was a small chance of making a deal because of all the cities I was looking at, but he still took time to show us around. He is client centered, rather than deal centered.

Thomas Hirata is an excellent Real Estate Agent. He showed me residences that were exactly what me and my fiance were looking for. After I gave him my mortgage preapproval, he also gave me names and numbers of other mortgage brokers that he knew would give me a better deal. He was able to answer every question I had, and really worked well with us. He is very professional and I would recommend him to any one of my family or friends.

First, it is important to note that we live in Virginia, but were interested in purchasing an investment property in Pittsburgh. William Schaffer had suggested that he sign us up for Prudential's multple listing email service and we agreed. We went through the emails and identified several homes that we were interested.

Saturday, June 18
We contacted William to let him know that we had identified several homes that we were intersted in viewing. We arranged to meet William in Pittsburgh on Saturday morning, June 25th. On Friday, June 24th we traveled to Pittsburgh from Northern Virginia (a four hour drive) so that we would be there to meet William early on Saturday morning. When we arrived at the agreed upon time, William met us with bad news, all of the houses we were interested in were under contract or no longer available. He provided us with a printout of all of the homes that we had expressed an interest in seeing. The date on the printouts indicated that William had not checked the status of the houses until the Friday before our Saturday appointment, although we had provided our list to him at least a week prior to the appointment. However, we did not hold William completely responsible for this oversight, because we had not checked the status of the houses either. We did not see any homes that weekend.

Saturday, July 30
We identified another set of houses that we wanted to see and made arrangments to meet William on August 5th. We made sure to check that all of the houses that we wanted to see had an and quot;activeand quot; status. We sent an email to William with a list that we felt could possibly take two days (Saturday and Sunday). We also infomed him that we were planning to leave on Friday afternoon, and asked him to ensure that the homes on the list that were not under contract.

Monday, August 1
William responded that an early start on Saturday would work but that Sunday he was booked.

Sunday, August 2
Because William was only available on Saturday; we went through our list and identified the homes that we were most interested in and sent a new list to William.

Monday, August 3
William replied that he felt we still needed two days to see the all of the homes that we were interested in seeing. I wrote back that we would be very quick and thought we could see the homes in one day.

Friday, August 5
William's email response was that he could see us on Saturday morning, but that and quot;I have another Buyer scheduled after you.and quot; He could show us some of the homes and asked that we and quot;let him knowand quot;. We were disappointed, but responded that we would see him Saturday morning and asked that he let us know where to meet him. We called William's cell phone several times on our trip over to Pittsburgh, but he didn't return our calls.

Saturday, August 5
We continued trying to reach William at the Prudential office and on his cell phone with no success.

Sunday, August 6
We returned to Northern Virginia without seeing any homes (for a second time) and never heard from William.

Later in the month of August, we contacted the Prudential Office Manager (Shanna Chotiner) and informed her William’s unprofessional conduct and substandard service. Ms. Chotiner apologized and indicated that there is no excuse for any agent to treat a customer in the manner in which we were treated. She also indicated that she would talk to William and that he would call to apologize personally. The call never came and Ms. Chotiner never followed up.

$230,000
We had a lady from Prudential be our realtor representative in the transaction. She was showing us homes and helping us out in closing and offering. We finally found something that suited our needs. Everything was great. Her services were great. We had contacted her quite a while before we bought our house. We kind of looked around and then cut off our search. Something popped up later and she gave us a call, and it ended up being perfect for us. That is one thing we appreciated about this realtor. I would rate them highly and would use them in the future if necessary.

She spent a lot of time trying to understand our need and what we were looking for. She also saved us about $30,000 with the new house, which came out of commission. She is actually a good friend of ours now too.

Bill understood exactly what we were looking for. Since this was our first home purchase, he explained the process to us in great detail. We only saw three properties - the third one was the house we ended up buying. We really liked that Bill was very accessible by both phone and email and that he explained everything very well. On top of all that, he's very friendly and even came to our first backyard BBQ in our new house.

I had used another realtor and we had only 1 offer. We switched to her and she had it sold in four months and for my asking price. She has integrity and is honest and is not intimidating and she tries to be fair to both parties, buyers and sellers.
