Prompt, friendly and professional. The walls and ceiling look better than they were before.
We could not have asked for more from Zane and Jason. They went above and beyond the original scope of work, working with our engineer and mason to devise a solution to arrest the foundation and wall movement. They were very knowledgeable and helped make what was a very stressful situation much more manageable. They made strusctural repairs, including the complete removal and re-framing of the second floor bathroom floor (while preserving the new tub and tile surround). We are still in the process of finishing the remodel and continue to work with Zane and Jason.
In addition to helping us fix theses structural issues, they completely remodeled a dingy first floor full bathroom into a period-appropriate half bath with laundry, refinished the quarter-sawn oak floors (including patching and banding in new quarter-sawn oak) and repaired and installed a chair rail for the cove ceilings.
While they are by no means cheap, Price and Vaughn Co. provide excellent value. I have accepted many bids in the past based on lowest price and have often been dissatisfied with the results. Zane and Jason might not provide the lowest bid, but particularly if you are remodeling an old house, I couldn't imagine a better crew to have on the job when you run into the inevitable unforeseen complications.
They are very pleasant, patient, and obviously enjoy their work.
Jason and Vance took their time to make sure every angle in our bathroom was perfect. We even got compliments from the glass company when they came in to install our glass door! We will definitely use them again when we remodel our second floor bathroom and are currently under contract with them to build a built in shelf/entertainment center on our first floor.
