This company was great from start to finish. Very friendly and professional. Installed windows and a door and very satisfied. Communication was great during the process. Would highly recommend.

I ordered storm, steel, and patio doors in October 2020 and had them installed in May 2021. (The pandemic slowed down the ProVia factory.) I interacted with several employees of Pittsburgh Window & Door Co., and they all were very polite and performed their jobs well. I feel so happy with my experience that I have recommended this company to my family and friends.

Someone came out and measured, gave me a proposal and estimate of time I would have to wait. I sent in the proposal when I was ready and they called to make the appointment. When they came, they brought a team of people and were finished in no time. No complaints yet. Everything was done professionally. I thought the price was reasonable.

I had an aging screen porch that needed new panels manufactured. Not a lot of companies do this, but I was lucky enough to find Jim Conroy and Pittsburgh Window and Door in nearby Millvale. They did a great job of manufacturing new panels to replace the old ones, and put in much upgraded screen door. The new panels look great! The company was very professional and accommodating (I was out of town when they needed to do the install, but they were able to get it done). If you need a screen porch replaced or repaired, I would definitely give them a call, we were very happy with the work and the price.

We talked to four companies about our need to replace our front entry door and the door between our house and garage. Pittsburgh Window & Door had by far the lowest price for name-brand product. Tom, the owner, spec'd and quoted the job, and he also came out to work on the installation. Their quote was about half that of their competition, even quoting the same doors from the same manufacturer. They called a day ahead of time to confirm the installation appointment, and they showed up on time. The installation went great and they cleaned up after themselves. We're very happy with our new doors, and with the entire experience.

15 YO Traco windows had seals broken and they were able to quickly measure, order, and replace them in a few weeks. Service was prompt and complete.

Very professional and the only company not requiring a deposit. Arrived when scheduled, cleaned up before leaving, went over window operations and warranty. Love the windows and the price. One of the few companies not using high pressure sales tactics and marked up prices so they can then discount giving buyer the illusion of a bargain.

From the first call to the installation, everything went very well. Price was reasonable and the installation team was on time and worked efficiently.

Mike was great to work with, initially with what we wanted and quote. There was absolutely no pressure. He brought his team to install and they worked like a well oiled machine. They were professional, cleaned up as they went, got the job done in 5 hours. The Windows and door look great from inside and out. I would highly recommend this company. When we decide on a new front door we will be calling them.

While moving a boxspring we broke one of the panes in the window on the landing of our steps. Being the window was over 30 years old, it made sense to see about having it replaced with a new window. We got a recommendation from a neighbor for Pittsburgh Window and Door. The sales guy came out about 10 days after we called and took some measurements and gave us an estimate. Because it was just the one window, we were happy with the price and didn't feel like shopping around. Got the process stared and the window was ordered and got a call a few weeks later to set up a time to have it installed. The two guys arrived right on time and had the old window out and the new one in in about 35 minutes and were on their way. As we have the rest of our windows in need of being replaced in the new few years, we'll be sure to call them when the time comes to have that work done

We received quotes from 5 different companies - some national, some local. We chose Pgh Window and door because they weren't pushy or high pressured like some of the other companies, they are a small family run business, and their prices couldn't be beat. The salesman who came out, Tom Jones, turned out to be one of the owners of the company. He was also present on installation day and got right to work with his crew and made sure the job went smoothly. We were replacing the original 100+ year old windows in our craftsman style home - we had a vision for a product that would look as if it had belonged in the home from the day it was built. Tom gave us several options for wood windows, hardware choices and grill patterns and they nailed it. They look way better than I thought they would. The installation took 1.5 days with a crew of 6+. Everyone was nice, professional, respectful and a true craftsman. The first day they installed all of the windows, the 2nd day they finished up some coiling on the outside and installed the storm windows. Through no fault of the company, unfortunately one of the window sashes was damaged in shipping from the factory - as soon as they unwrapped the window and saw the damage Tom was on the phone with the supplier pushing through a replacement and the issue was resolved after the sash was remanufactured. Tom himself came out to install it. When finances permit we intend to replace three large windows in our living room (aside from the stained glass, the only original windows we kept) and will surely be using Pgh Window and Door again. You can try all the other companies out there but

Fantastic. They were extremely courteous, professional and did a great job! They were done in a couple of hours - well before expected. And when I went down there everything was cleaned up and perfectly finished & caulked. The door looks and works wonderfully. I wish every job I had done on this house these past few years went this smoothly!

We had a storm door installed in the kitchen of our home. The owner came to the house and said we would need a custom door. He showed us a catalogue and I picked out the door. He explained how I could take the windows out to clean them. I have a full screen on top of the door. The price was extremely reasonable and we were told it would be about 6 weeks before installation. The two gentlemen arrived promptly at 8:00 a.m. on the due date. They were finished in one hour and how beautiful the door looked and how it changed the appearance of our back. The men were friendly, professional, polite, humorous, and clean are only a few words that can describe them. When they were finished I immediately called the office and informed them how happy they made us. I recommend Pittsburgh Window and Door to everyone. We were more than satisfied.

This was a VERY smooth operation from start to finish. One of the owners came to my home to give the estimate. He was very nice and polite. What I appreciated most was that he didn't try to constantly up-sell. He never did that at all. He also never pressured me to make a decision right then and there, and he explained everything thoroughly. The price I received was great. Even my son-in-law who works in construction was surprised at how low it was. When my window-installation date arrived, the crew showed up promptly. There were three men, all of whom were very kind and considerate. They were very patient with my cats that I had to get shut in another room. They joked around with me while they worked. And they DID work. There was no slacking by any of them. When the windows were installed, the mess was thoroughly cleaned up. Nothing left for me to do. I appreciated that. I love the windows. They aren't fancy, but I didn't buy fancy ones, so that's ok. But I have noticed a change in my energy consumption since they've been installed. I can set my A/C at a higher temp and still be comfortable. It doesn't run as much as it used to. So I know the windows were properly installed and well sealed. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking for new windows. The price cant be beat and the service is excellent.

I had this work scheduled while we were away.  They had a several month waiting list, but that was ok with me.  

I chose them over a larger, well advertised company (WW), because I felt like I could trust that they would back their products and work.  And their reviews online were good.

The owner was informative and no pressure.  I feel that if I were to have any problems down the road, they will definitely take ca of them for me.  

The windows are good (it's been a huge improvement), and the workers did a nice job of respecting my house and not damaging things.

Everything went very well. We got a few quotes on the entry door, and Pittsburgh Window & Door Co's was the lowest. Tom was very easy to work with, responding to my emails quickly. The doors arrived about 7 weeks after we placed the order, and the installation went smoothly. They were pretty professional and they cleaned up the place afterwards. It's been more than 4 years and there's no problem with the doors. The next year when I asked Tom to give me the documentation for tax credit for energy saving doors, he also responded immediately.

Everything went very well. Started with the professionalism and courteous representative. Explained and went over all details during selection and estimate. The workmen were Great! Very professional and friendly. Work was done professionally and more quickly than we expected. Cleaned up after job was finished.

It was one of the easiest home improvement projects we've had to date.  From the initial estimate to the job completion, they were punctual, polite, & attentive to detail.  The job was done in one day, & they left no mess to clean up.  They were very careful & didn't put one scratch in our wood floors!  The doors look beautiful & we are very happy with the results.

Over all, they did a great job - the workmen arrived on time, were polite, and did their job well.
That said, their main office apparently uses a paper based filing system (no computers), so many of our requests, calls, were lost in the shuffle.
