Everything went perfectly. The matching of the fabric was amazing. the only thing wrong was that the chair cushion was about an inch smaller then the seat of the chair.

After researching over a dozen upholstery companies in the Pittsburgh area, I chose Pittsburgh Upholstery because the website was friendly, and not pretentious. The owner, Cindy, was just what I expected from the website, friendly, and not pretentious. She looked at my old, and very odd shaped chair as a welcomed challenge. After Cindy quoted a price for me, I consulted my interior design friend, who said it was an excellent price, and I would not find a better deal. The work was completed in a timely fashion, and the workmanship is wonderful. I highly recommended Pittsburgh Upholstery to anyone looking for quality work at a very reasonable price

I had a conversation over the phone to discuss what I wanted to have done and discuss what it would cost. I wasn't sure the height of my seat cushions so I needed to bring them into the store to ensure we used the proper size foam. The proper size was not in stock so they ordered it for me. I dropped the cushions off and they called to let me know when the work was complete. The work was completed on time based on what they told me when I dropped the cushions off.
I am very happy with the work that they did. It brought back to life my couch that was looking pretty saggy for a fraction of the cost of buying a new piece of furniture. I would definitely use their services again.

My dinning chairs needed upholsteing. Sent her the pics via email and got a response within 24 hrs with estimate and choices. It was among the competitive quotes and close to home. It was the holiday season and busy time. Requested a sooner ready time that she gave originally. I was pleased that she was able to finish the job on time. Happy with the results. She has a personal touch unlike the big chains cookie cutter style approach. Would take my business to her again if needed and recommend others to her too.

Cindy gave me an online quote within 24 hours of my sending pictures of my chairs. She was able to schedule me for less than 2 weeks from the time of the quote, and once I dropped off the chairs, everything was done in less than week. Cindy is very professional and did a tremendous job with the upholstery. The seams on the chairs are perfect. Although I find it hard to believe that getting chairs reupholstered costs as much as it does, Cindy was the lowest of the 3 quotes that I got, so obviously her pricing is fair and competitive. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pittsburgh Upholstery to anyone looking for this type of service!
