"Our faucets carry a simple lifetime replacement (not refund) warranty. Accordingly, a replacement faucet was offered and declined. The customer, until this instance, never mentioned any incorrect measurement. It is likely that we would have been able to handle an issue in this regard, but neither received notification nor opportunity."
"Please be advised that I have been retained to represent Kitchenrama Granite & Cabinets regarding a complaint filed by your member [member name removed]. Contrary to [member name removed] allegations, Kitchenrama conducted themselves in a professional and workmanlike manner. Approximately one (1) year ago the [member name removed] came to my client’s store and obtained an estimate for a granite countertop. My client quoted them a price and did not hear from the [member name removed] thereafter. Approximately one (1) year later the [member name removed] returned to my client’s store again looking for granite countertops. They were showed another countertop which they like more and which was less than the one they looked at a year prior. The order was placed using the measurements given by the [member name removed] over a year ago. After the installers had an opportunity to inspect and measure the [member name removed] kitchen it was determined that the Sesame White countertop that they h ad ordered was not available in one (1) piece. It was explained to the [member name removed] that they could keep the same color but a second piece would need to be used which would create a small seam. They were also told they could order the Spray White granite countertop that they looked at a year prior which would not have any seams. The [member name removed] choose to keep the Sesame White countertop with the seam. After the countertop was installed and [member name removed] had accepted the work, [member name removed] contracted my client with her dissatisfaction. My client went back to the [member name removed] residence and attempted to rework the countertop to [member name removed] satisfaction. In an attempt to satisfy the [member name removed], my client agreed to remove that countertop and install the original Spray White countertop waiving any labor costs. The [member name removed] accepted this agreement and allowed my client to install the Spray White granite countertop in their kitchen. Once again no additional labor costs were charged by my client. After everything was completed the [member name removed] refused to pay the additional $350.00 they had agreed to pay. With respect to the claim regarding the sink and dishwasher, please be advised that my client does not participate in removing, disconnecting and replacing any of the plumbing on the premises. After countertops are installed it is the responsibility of the homeowner to hook up and reconnect any appliances or plumbing in the kitchen. My client has gone above and beyond that which is require to satisfy the unreasonable claim of the [member name removed]. If you are inclined to publish the complaints of your member, please publish the response as well. I thank you for your courtesy and cooperation. Very truly yours, Terrence M. Ging"
"We have been to his house more than 5 times and we did all the work that we can to make them happy. Cause I was told that someone told them the countertop does not look nice. Se we can not sell product to satisfy everyone's taste. They got a good price on the product and I believe my service is great. I did all the follow up and try to get it up to what they want. I don't know what else I can do to make them happy. The product they purchased is granite and the color is Blue Pearl. They are not defective products. Granite is natural products and they come with some natural characteristics. Such as fissures, pits, and due to each pattern and component of each piece may view it different from slab to slab and angle to angle. There could be a chance that you see shining in front and not that shining on the side or some other angles. Due to the nature of the granite or sometimes the lighting of the house too. We installed over 300 countertops since 2006 and we only have 5 complaints so far. I believe that percentage is very low. If fissures, pits or the natural characteristics of stone are viewed as defects you may want to choose granite that has less or consider a different countertop material. Dennis Li-VP"
