Pittsburgh Drain Guys

I would highly recommend Pittsburgh Drain Guys. Mike Williams, the owner, spent nearly two hours examining and understanding our drainage problem. His effort discovered something that no one else had noticed, which saved our basement from serious future water damage. Mike's proposal was detailed, professional, and reasonably priced. Their work crew arrived on time with powerful equipment, an army of skilled hard workers, and an excellent foreman in Paul who served as my single point of contact and was both pleasant and responsive. Their finished product is excellent. Hiring these "guys" was the right choice.

The work they did was great. They showed up on time and were done in 5 hours. All the young men were very pleasant and explained what they did to us. They cleaned everything up and left the job site very neat

They did not function as described in contract and water backed up into yard and into my basement causing well walls, rugs, pad etc Mike the owner does not return phone calls or keep his dates to meet, he agreed to look at situation four weeks in the future and than cancelled advises me to sue him as he offers no help. He does not stand by his work or care about customers after the fact Do not use this firm as you may experience a problem

Very pleased with Pittsburgh Drain Guys. Mike and team were professional, talented, and efficient at the work they provided. The job only took one day, and they even impressed me when they finished the job earlier in the day than expected. Mike already owns all the equipment needed to complete his jobs, and his team look to be very efficient with those machines. Mike and team (8 guys total) installed 125ft (4 inch sleeved) pipe around back and side of house, 110ft (4 inch solid) pipe around other side of house with 3 downspout tie-ins, along with gravel back fill. They also added top soil for grading correction (3-4 tons) and hand graded both sides of house as well. All excavated areas were then reseeded. If I needed to hire drain experts again, or if anyone asks me for recommendations, I'd easily tell them to contact Pittsburgh Drain Guys.

Very professional company.   Excellent experience from the initial contact through to completion of the project. 
I received a quick call back to schedule a date to provide a proposal and estimate.  Mike arrived in a timely manner and took his time to review the area and determine the best way to resolve the water problem.  The location with the water drainage issues cannot be accessed with any equipment, therefore, this would be a very labor intensive project using manual labor to dig and haul materials.   A written estimate and references were provided during that initial visit.
After acceptance of the proposal, the work was scheduled to be completed within the same week.  A full crew, including a plumber, enabled the job to be completed in one day even with all of the manual work of hauling tons of stone and soil from street level, through the lower yard and then up a full set of stairs to the upper yard level.  The entire work area was cleaned after the job was completed.  
I am very pleased with the job that was done and would recommend this company for french drain work.
