Once the grass came up I walked out there only to discover that the ground was in worse shape than it had been to begin with. It feels like you're walking on softballs. There are ruts and it's uneven all over.

Mike helped us out even though tree/branch removal is not one of his normal services and it was a much, much bigger job than we all imagined. He and his crew are always prompt, professional and nice to work with. He did a great job and removed all that they could and cleaned everything up after and hauled it away. He also honored his estimate even though the job was much more involved than originally expected.

Crew of 6 showed up on time.  All work was completed as agreed to in about 1/2 a day.  All trash was removed at the time of service.  The hillside looks better than it has in years.  We are definitely planning to use them again in the spring to clean up another area of the yard.

Mike Pilardi replied promptly to my request for an estimate.  He showed up to do the work when promised (in spite of days and days of rain, which must have caused havoc with his schedule).  Mike and his crew performed the work just as I wanted it done. They cleaned up everything when finished and the beds now look great.

Great.  Our yard looks ready for spring and summer.  Team was on time and did the job quickly and efficiently.

Mike was very prompt in responding to my call and came out to give me an estimate. He scheduled the work for the next week, even though it was his busy time. Mike brought 2 helpers with him the first time and they completed the work in one day. The pond job involved bailing the water out with buckets and then removing the waterfall rocks and the edging rocks to fill the pond. Also, they brought in a lot of smaller stone to fill the hole and now it serves to prevent water build up in the back corner of our lot. They left the yard very clean.

• Mike and his team did landscaping in the front, side, and back of the house. This included edging and mulching the flower beds and trees, planting new shrubs, and the placement of landscaping ties in the flower garden in the back of the house. It was a pleasure working with this contractor. I recommended this contractor to my family and neighbors.

Mike and his crew are punctual and hard working. There were no unpleasant surprises. Mikes price is firm, the quality of materials is as expected, and nothing is forgotten. Everything is taken care of where there is no addition cleanup or touch ups after Mike and his crew leave. Mike made a follow up call to make sure that everything was right and that my wife and I were happy. We have referred Mike to our friends and family.

Excellent service and a job well done. Our yard looked so beautiful once Mike and his team tackled it, it looked like the best yard on the block. We would definitely recommend him.

Mike was quick to return calls. We walked around the property together and he took notes of what needed to be done. He quoted, I accepted and work began the next week.
The crew began around 8 each morning and worked about 4-5 hours each of the two days.
The first day was spent pulling weeds and trimming shrubs and edging some of the beds. This was a large area that both surrounded the house AND the edges of the property itself. Some of my flowers were pulled (some lillies, a coneflower, a foxglove, and several others), but a truckload of weeds and trimmings were removed too. They cleaned out spots I forgot were there. I'm hoping the squirrel planted trees that they cut off at the ankles won't come back next year.
On the second day, they finished edging the beds and mulched.
My neighbors were impressed by the improved appearance of the property.
I did notice later that the gopher holes by the porch had not been filled and called Mike asking if he would fill them in. The gopher had be caught, all that needed to be done was to dump some buckets of dirt and cover with mulch. He said he would do it free. I got a bit impatient and filled one of them in myself. Mike came and partially filled the other while my spouse watched on.Had I been there, I would have told him to fill it to the top so water wouldn't pool beside the house and so the foundation wouldn't show.
No wonder he seemed a bit pieved at me when I again called him to fill the hole. I didn't even realize he had been there as spouse never told me and I could still see foundation and waterproofing when I looked. He DID add some dirt and some concrete chunk and a brick to discourage more gopher digging, but I explained there was still quite a deep 'concave dent' (almost a foot) directly against the house that needed to be filled. He'd fill it he said, but I got impatient waiting for him after a couple of weeks and found someone else to do it Oct 1. I called and left a message for him so he wouldn't make a wasted trip.
I'm still pleased with the weeding, edging and mulching. So are my neighbors.

We had a dead area of lawn and they dug it all up and replanted grass seed.

They started working in the morning and stayed with the project until completion 2 1/2 hours later.

Great service. Very prompt answering phone call. On time for estimate appointment and for scheduled work. Did all the work in a professional manner. And great clean-up too.

I called Mike and within 2 hours he had responded and set up an appointment to give me a quote the next evening. He was punctual, thorough with his quote and very polite. I hired him on the spot since his quote was reasonable and I had been chasing other landscaping companies to give me a bid for over a month. Mike and his team showed up on the morning just like they had prearranged and got to work. Unfortunately they hit a snag in the form of an underground yellow jacket nest. They postponed work until the next day until I took care to have the nest removed. I certainly appreciated this since they didn't want to leave a big pile of mulch sitting in my driveway blocking access for the day since they couldn't work in the large area where the nest was located. The next morning, they were there to finish the job right on time. They finished up the job and Mike arranged to come and walk the property with my husband and I to address any questions or concerns that we had with the work. We were extremely pleased with his work, so this was just a formality, but Mike was great about making the trip and was very polite.

Did great job. Called back quickly when left message. Came right on time for the estimate and actual work. Polite and courteous. Patient with my curious and active preschooler nosing in on their work. Yard looks great!

Mike always does a very professional job-- he is a true gentleman. When we called Mike to get an estimate, he called right back. When he said he would show up at our house for us to take a quick look around to see what needed done, he was right on time. In fact, to my surprise, he remembered all the things I told him last year about certain beds and shrubs! Mike and his crew the the clean-up/edging job the day they said, got it all done, and we are very satisfied. Mike will be coming back to our house for sure!
