Paul Coffey and his crew did a WONDERFUL job of cutting down 2 trees, eliminating stumps, working thru the all day rain, and charging less than the other tree service we got quote from. They were done hours before we expected and carted everything away. Very highly recommend them.

Paul and his crew arrived ontime at 8:15 am and by 2:00 pm they were finished! Everything was cleaned up and looked great, and even though the big tree was hard to take down, there was no damage to anything in my yard or my neighbor's yard. They somehow managed to miss a hedge and small dogwood trees that I had planted last year and were careful to move a fountain out of the way before they got started. Overall, they did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them. Also, the guys were all really nice and polite.

Paul Coffee crew did a great job of removing a difficult tree, but only removed about half of the stump, When Paul himself came out to be paid, he admitted that the rest of the stump should have been removed. I paid him the full amount telling him I trusted him to finish the job. But, after he had the money he neither removed the stump nor has not returned ANY of my phone calls, not one. I left him a message that I would leave a poor review on Angie's list, but he never responded.

Very good. They did everything they were supposed to do. They were pleasant. They even cut down a tree for our neighbor for free. Their price was comparable to others.

We had an easy time negotiating a price for removal of the trees without stump grinding. The price was much less than the other three bids I got. They came out quickly, took down the trees and removed most of the debris in one day. However some of the trunks were still in the yard a few days later. I called Paul, and he came out within a few days to remove the rest of the debris. He did not ask for any payment until the work was complete. All together I was very satisfied with his work and fee.

In the past, I have called Paul several times to have Bradford Pear trees removed after they were blown down during storms.  They were quick to come out and remove the trees.  He is very friendly and always willing to do whatever needs done in a timely manner.

Very well...they  arrived at 8:30 a.m. and were  done by mid afternoon.

Paul Coffey and Sons, took down one tree for me, plus chopped the tree, and two other tree trunks, into smaller logs that I could use to burn. Also, they separated the wood into separate piles. One pile for logs, one for the thin branches, and one for the medium size branches. They arrived early and completed the work in a short time frame.

After contacting 2 other tree services, one that didn't show up for the estimate and another that didn't return my calls, I contacted  Paul Coffey & Son and spoke with Paul.  He came out the next day and gave me an estimate, and they were able to remove the stumps later that week.  The three man crew worked as a team.  They finished the cutting, removed the large root debris, leveled the chips in the holes, and cleaned off the driveways and street in front in less than a hour.  I was truly amazed and impressed with this company, and recommend them highly.

Paul was very attentive to detail and seemed to want the work.  He even offered to come out while I was out of town to do the work.  Once I returned, I contacted him to arrange for him to get paid.  The only remaining work was to cut down the stump and cut up the trunk of the tree to be managable so it could be split.  After I paid Paul, he never retuned any of my calls concerning finishing up the work.  The only call he answered was when I contacted him via my office phone number and he stated they would be out that week.  As of July 9th 2012, he has not returned to finish the job.  Homeowner beware!!

I had 2 pine trees that were located within 6 feet of the front of my house and were approximately 75 - 90 feet tall.  They leaned towards the house slightly which caused me some concern, so I decided to have them removed.  Last spring, my neighbor had 4 or 5 trees cut down by Paul Coffey and Son Tree Service and they did a great job.  I had received 4 estimates on the removal of the trees, including Paul Coffey and Son Tree Service.  I was impressed with a number of the services but the fact that I saw Paul Coffey and Son in action, and their estimate was the most reasonable, that made this a no-brainer for me.  I would highly recommend them to anyone.

These guys were awesome! They did a great job, the price was reasonable, and they showed up when they said they would.  They also gave us an honest opinion and said that 2 trees didn't even need to be trimmed...I appreciate that.  Thanks Paul and Dan for the great job!!

PAUL AND HIS SON, PAUL, DO QUALITY TREE TRIMMING AND/OR REMOVAL. THEY WERE PROMPT AND COURTEOUS. WE'VE DONE BUSINESS WITH THEM A FEW TIMES AND WOULD CONTINUE TO HIRE THEM IN THE FUTURE.
