The lady who came out to the house was very nice and explained the work to be done. It was inconvenient to drive to her home to pick it up but when the clock stopped running, they honored the guarantee and fixed it. Now, it is working fine. Once again, had to travel to get the clock back.

This home based business works great. Paul's daughter does takes calls, schedules drop of and pick up of the clocks and the payments. Paul and his wife seemed knowledgeable. They were here 1/2 hour. I wish they had noticed that the grandmother clock was running slowly before they left. $250 seemed hefty to me but I am not up on clock repair costs. This included the $35 off big deal I had purchased for $25. They also took a Seth Thomas mantel clock back to their shop for repair.

All repairs were completed and clocks returned in a timely manner; the clocks work great! Paul even rehung my wall clock in a more secure manner, which was so appreciated! My experience dealing with Paul and Judy could not have been better! I will use their services in the future if needed and not hesitate to recommend them to others!

I called and asked what the cost would be to repair hands on a cuckoo clock - Was told $5 or $10 Tok clock to place of business and was told cuckoo clocks cost $250 to refurbish and another $5 or $10 for hands. I told her all I needed was hands. They would not repair just hands and to buy complete service - which I did not need.

As promised. Clock was ready when they said it would be and is running well.

As stated above, the problem was quickly diagnosed and the repair was done in a timely fashion. Very friendly. Would not hesitate to use again. What was great was that we were able to purchase a discounted coupon to go towards the cost of repair. We also found out that this clock was much older than we thought. The clock runs great now and has not stopped!

This was a great experience. I was given an appointment for two days after my call. They called the night before the appointment and about 30 mins before arriving. When Judy arrived at my house, she was very friendly and explained everything she was going to do. She took her time cleaning, oiling and adjusting our clock to make sure it worked properly. They called the day the day before to confirm the appointment and also called on their way to our home to say they would be arriving earlier than planned. They inspected the clock and were able to fix it in our home. Paul educated us about our clock when he was finished. We were very pleased with their service and are happy to have our clock working again.

I had had Judy come in 2002 to tune up the clock at an earlier address and was glad to find they were still in business. (Judy is Paul's wife.) Judy picked up the phone the first time I called and made an appointment for a house call the following week. She phoned the day before to reconfirm, then in the morning of the visit to tell me she would be early. In addition to getting the clock going again, she gave me helpful advice about having the cabinet re-finished.

Judy was always prompt. Calls returned on a timely basis--very professional. I was very happy to have my clocks working again. Judy came to the house and was able to repair one on the clocks here. The other large clock had to be removed. It was repaired quickly and returned to my home. I was very happy with the service I was provided and the quality of the workmanship. It went well! Paul is very clear and professional. He quoted a price pre visit and stuck with it. He arrived promptly (to the minute), called 15 minutes ahead of time (as promised) and contacted us the night before to confirm the appointment. He carefully examined and reassembled the clock. He gave me a thorough overview of what condition it is in. I was very pleased.

There are so few master clock repair specialists around anymore, so we prayed that the listing for Paul's Clock Repair we found in our Angie's List monthly magazine was going to be "the one." We called and got a prompt home visit from Paul's wife Judy, who is also skilled at servicing the large clocks. She was able to get the clock to run correctly again and chime in less than an hour ($180.00 for initial home visit). We were told at that time that the 40 year old parts might need further repairs which would require the works to be rebuilt in their home for an additional charge, if we so desired. They have a 30 day guarantee on their work so when we noticed that it was starting to skip the fifteen minute chimes, we called for the additional service. To rebuild the movement was an additional $450, but we really wanted to restore the clock to perfection. Judy came again promptly to remove the works, We got to meet Paul when the couple returned this morning to reassemble our beloved clock. Bushings had worn down in the intricate works and had been replaced. Everything had been cleaned and oiled, and the chime train was repaired. Paul was extremely helpful, making sure we were properly instructed on how to care for the weights and pendulum. We couldn't be more pleased with their service and professionalism! If you have a treasured clock, the cost to rebuild the works is well worth the investment; to get prompt, reliable service in the home is tremendously appreciated. Very highly recommended.

Paul answered my initial call promptly and was out to the house in less than a week. He and his wife were on time...in fact early...for the appointment. Both were very pleasant and professional. I'm not exactly sure what they did, but the clock started ticking. They were not here very long, probably 15-20 minutes. Paul was no sure just what was the problem but assured me that if it happened again, he would come back and take the inner works to his shop for a more in depth diagnosis and repair. I thought the price was a bit high.....$180 just to walk in the house. But so far the clock is still running so I would call it a success.

It went fine. He was very friendly. The service was timely, they were in and out. They were a little pricey. They say they give free estimates, but he said the free estimates are only over the phone. They charge $200 for a house call.

The owner's wife arrived punctually at 8 AM on the day of the appointment and proceeded to inspect the mechanism of the clock. After a thorough inspection, it was determined that the mechanism had to be taken to the shop for further work. Cost was explained at this time which we felt was very reasonable. We received a call several weeks later indicating that the clock was repaired and would be returned the next day at 8AM. She arrived promptly at 8AM and installed the mechanism. After completing the work, she explained how to maintain the clock and the warranty. She gladly answered any of our questions. The entire experience was very pleasurable and we would heartily recommend their service. We will definitely use them again should the need arise. They are truly professional in every sense of the word.

We delivered our non-working clock to Paul's and were told we would get it back in 2 weeks. Within two weeks as promised it was brought to our home in running condition, mounted on the wall and is running fine. Paul' s is now working on our second old clock.
