OGDEN APPLIANCE SVC

We have gotten the number from his parents about 10 years ago. We have only used him twice because that was the only time I needed anything done. He was very good and very professional. I liked that he didn't charge for his travel time. He didn't even charge for labor. I don't know if he does that with everybody. It could have been because he knew my in-laws. The refrigerator still works though it's 25 years old. They don't even make Calorics anymore. I thought his pricing was good. Maybe because he knew my in-laws, he only charged us for the parts. The one who did the work was very good and he knew what he was talking about. The refrigerator used to be my parents' and he explained what goes wrong and we keep it as long as we can because it keeps my food really cold for a long time. I know I'm going to need a new gasket. I don't know if we can do that ourselves or not. If we can't, I will call him.

the dryer would not start.  He replaced 2 parts for $120 including labor.

I called to set up an appointment for Mr. Ogden to check my Kenmore gas dryer.  It was running but had no heat at all.  To my complete surprise, he came to my house, checked the dryer and fixed the dryer in 1 1/2 hours the same day.  He had the parts with him and the cost was very reasonable.  He is very professional, experienced and efficient.  I am not sure about dryer parts but believe the problem parts were cycling thermostat and thermal overload.  Mr. Ogden also cleaned out the vent hose and checked the temperature.  I have given his name and number to a few friends and family members and would highly recommend him.  I will call him for any problems I have with appliances in the future.

This morning we found the fridge holding steady at 60 degrees. I called at 8:30 to see if he could work us in today. I said I had a busy day with kid school programs, he said "I'll be there in 20 min." Music to my ears! He came, found the problem, and advised my landlord on what he suggested to do (repair or replace).  Landlord chose to repair, and he came back later today with the part and quickly replaced the control board. He also gave me great advice on future appliance problems and purchases. What a great repair professional! He was polite, uniformed, prompt, and speedy!

When I told him it was a Caldera stove he replied repeatedly that he had never heard of that brand and couldn't get the parts.  He never checked to see if he could get them or not, he just said he couldn't.  Not very professional.

He was very prompt and was able to identify the issue right away. He wasn't the most personable man in the world but he did a good job. I would use him again.

Came promptly, diagnosed immediately, quoted price, repaired and left.....not more than 15 minutes.
