DO NOT HIRE THIS GUY! First of all he showed up an hour late. Once he finally arrived he went down to my basement to diagnose an issue I was having with my washing machine. The machine washed the clothes but I was having an issue with the spin cycle. The clothes were still wet. After he spent about 40 minutes "looking" at my machine he tells me he thinks it's the pump. Also tells me while I'm writing the check that he did not let the washer run through the cycles completely because it "takes too long". After signing the invoice and paying him I realized what he had just said and that the initial diagnosis couldn't be correct. It couldn't be the pump because the drum was empty. So when I call him to discuss this, he then lies to me and tells me the drum wasn't emtying completly because he poured the excess water from the drum into a drain in my basement floor. Well, the drain in my basement floor is closed off and has been since I bought the house. After catching him in and calling him out on his lie, I politley ask him to meet me halfway and refund me the labor he charged me. He said he'd think about it and cashed my check.

This is a very reliable company and they are great. Especially after trying another company, I thought Northway was wonderful. They are a single owner business and the man does his own repairs and own appointments. My washing machine is fine now and I have no complaints at all.

VERY GOOD PRICING. ARRIVED WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD AND FIXED MY DRYER THE SAME DAY BECAUSE HE HAD THE PARTS WITH HIM. FRIENDLY SERVICE PERSON.
