Knob and Tube wiring replaced throughout house

Nick's is a very casually run business. Work is done well, but not always in as timely a fashion as one would like. The workers are polite and competent. Nick has a very outgoing personality and is fun to talk to, but he doesn't do the smaller jobs himself. His company replaced my undermount kitchen lighting so I was left with about $100 in old specialty bulbs that the electrical supply company refused to take back (Nick had told me they would). Ultimately he said he would buy them back. Someone picked them up, but I waited over a year for my reimbursement. I had to call twice. Eventually he mailed it to me. I do not want you to publish this review.

They were good.

LIKED NICK & WORKMEN. PROFESSIONAL JOB. LIGHTING DESIGN NOT STRONG. HAVE REGRETS ABOUT NOT BEING PROACTIVE ENOUGH ABOUT SWITCH PLACEMENT, ETC. AND DEFERRING TO NICK'S JUDGMENT. ALSO WERE ACCIDENTALLY BILLED FOR WORK NOT DONE, NO PROBLEM ONCE BROUGHT TO NICK'S ATTENTION BUT WOULD HAVE OVERPAID IF NOT VIGILANT.

THROUGHOUT THE PROCESS OF OBTAINING THE ESTIMATE THROUGH DOING THE WORK, NICK WAS VERY HELPFUL AND PROVED TO BE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE. WE APPRECIATED HIS ADVICE ON THE TYPE OF FIXTURES TO USE AS WELL AS THEIR PLACEMENT. HE WAS PROMPT, EFFICIENT, AND PLEASANT TO WORK WITH. THEY WERE CAREFUL TO LAY DROPCLOTHS IN THE AREA WHERE THEY WORKED, AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEY WERE FINISHED. WE ALSO APPRECIATED THAT HE EXPLAINED EACH STEP OF THE PROCESS AS HE WORKED. WE ALREADY HAVE PLANS TO USE HIM AGAIN.

COMPLETED WORK ON TIME FOR DEMOLITION. PROVIDED EXCELLENT RECOMMENDATION ON LOCATION AND TYPE OF LIGHTING. FIXED A DOORBELL THAT HAD NEVER WORKED CORRECTLY.
