MY CLEANER

Best price for dry cleaning. Efficient.

The curtain panels came back 2 1/2 inches shorter than they were originally. . I contacted the cleaners and was told the owner would call me. After 9 days I still had not heard from the owner. Called the owner and he said he followed my instructions to dry clean the curtains. At no time did the store personnel tell me my curtains would shrink. The curtains were cleaned previously by Lord Duncan cleaners and did not shrink. I am not happy with the owners attitude toward this issue.

“My Cleaners” in Aspinwall ruined one of my silk and cotton shirts, and wouldn’t take responsibility for doing so. This was a fairly high-end shirt. I’ve had five (now 4) of them for about a year. When I took it out of the plastic bag last week I noticed that both cuffs had been partially ripped from the sleeves. I returned it to the cleaners where I was told that the manager would look at it on Monday and then call me. On Monday I got a call from an employee who told me the manager said that the shirt was just old and there was nothing she could do. I told the employee that I had 4 more of the shirts and they were just fine. She said if that was the case that I should bring them in for the manager to see. I said I would do so the following Saturday and hung up. Within a couple of minutes I got another call from the same employee who said that the manager said there was still nothing she could do, that the shirt was defective and that I should return it to where I bought it. I told the employee that we were through with “My Cleaners”, and she said she would pass that on, and added that she was just the “middle-man”. The fact that I have other shirts of the same size, fabric, and brand that have been cleaned with no problem makes me think that there might have been a problem with the process. It would have been professional for the Manager to at least look at the other shirts and to speak to me in person rather than through an intermediary.

They usually do a pretty good job of treating stains and if something doesn't come out they will do it again. They are very pleasant, friendly, and professional.

My wife takes our clothes in and picks them up. Their costs are better than the other cleaners that I have been to in the past. The prices are decent and they are always professional.
