Overall the job went very well. The old house had a very long (several hundred yards) driveway and the movers used a small truck to ferry our stuff from the house to the large truck parked alongside the road. Generally the movers all were pleasant and responsive to our needs. There were three guys the first day, moving stuff out of the storage units, and five the next, moving our house items. The supervisors each day (different person each day) were cordial and solicitous. In the new house, the movers moved a lot of the stuff up two flights of very steep stairs. No damage aside from a minor chip of paint here or there. They took apart a heavy treadmill and reassembled it in the new place no problem. Overall they worked very quickly and efficiently. They had to take some doors off the hinges and forgot to rehang them afterwards, but then again, we forgot to remind them. Final price was a little over estimate but not bad at all and they let us know they were going to go over before they did (some additional work was needed). They gave us this all at a price that was 25% to 30% less than a competitor's estimate.
