Quick response for a request for floor refinishing at my son’s new home. Easy to work with and very responsive. On time, job complete on time and very professional. The floors are gorgeous!!! I plan on using g him again in my home. I highly recommend Mike!!!

Excellent! Mike and his team did an amazing job and the floors were done perfectly. They worked non-stop from the time they arrived each day to when they left. Very professional. We couldn't be happier with the floors. Lastly, big shout out to Luanne, his wife, who we worked with to get on Mike's very busy schedule. Thank you!

I called and spoke to a very nice lady quite a few times, with a promise Mike would call me back. After awhile he did reach out to me, and I explained the job I needed done (1000sq hardwood sand/stain/poly). After I told him the size of my home, it was clear he became disinterested. He told me to 'call back after you finished getting quotes'. I called back a few days later and left messages on the answering machine - no further callback. I needed the job soon and was paying cash, which I gladly gave to another local flooring contractor.

Called and left several messages with secretary. She finally called me back and asked me a few questions, I assumed that we would be setting up a time for Mike to come and look at the project. She explained that No, she would relay my info to Mike and then he would contact me. He NEVER did. Found Leghart Bros, and they did a wonderful job at a great price. Not impressed with Mike Jones's business model!

Never returned voice mail messages...2! When finally spoke with someone they said would call back next week. That was 2 months ago and not call. Used 20 years ago and like them then...not so much now.

Took one week to return my call at which time he advised that he was too busy for new installation jobs and then went on to advise that I probably had fake hardwood in the existing rooms because it was a townhouse. Then mentioned that it was difficult to work in and park at townhouses. Thanks for the insult, I guess. I have a 1900 sq ft townhouse with a two car garage and plenty of parking.. If you are looking for new installation save you time and move on from this company.

Mike and team refinished our hardwood floors in the living room and dining room. Work included sanding, staining, and coats of polyurethane. They also addressed the gap between the floorboards and floor that was left from removing the carpet. Work was completed over three different days and Mike and team came out exactly when scheduled. Floors look great! Would recommend.

The older lady who answers the phone was very nice and said Mike would call me to set up a time for an estimate. She said the squeaky wheel gets the grease. I called twice a week for 6 weeks. Each time the lady promised me that Mike would be calling soon. He never called. If Mike Jones has no intention of calling me then all they have to do is tell me. Stay away from Mike Jones.

They answered the call. They stated that they have enough business that they do not travel to the east end of city of Pittsburgh. They recommeded Wood Floor Specialists, who I have had a terrible experience with in the past and would never use again.

Mike and his crew refinished all our hardwoods, 3 rooms downstairs, 4 upstairs, and the upstairs hallway and staircase. They first sanded everything, and replaced a few boards in the dining room and nearly half the master bedroom that had suffered water damage. Then they stained the floors a bit darker than before and applied polyurethane finish. Looks great!

I needed hardwood flooring repair. He came and saw the work to be done and agreed to have it scheduled. After multiple calls to the office "he'll get back to you" never called to schedule or showed up to do the job. I felt he didn't want to be bothered with a smaller job - if he had mentioned this to me up front or on the phone I would have gladly accepted this and would use for larger jobs in the future. But the lack of response was unacceptable.

Mike Jones comes highly recommended but I cannot get a quote from them. I have called many times. They say they will get back to me and never do.

"This report was submitted the day after our office, garage, and warehouse were completely destroyed by fire. During our rebuilding period, phone calls were being handled off-site. If we missed any calls, we appologize. At the time of the fire, we had quotes on file for this customer. However, we were unable to agree to terms, as we do no move or work around furniture. In recent years we have found it necessary to turn down projects located out of our area, including Ms. Reder's neighborhood."

We are extremely pleased with our floors. Mike worked to match the exsisting floors and new hardwood. They were always here when they said they would be and there was absolutely no dust or mess in the house. Our entire first floor of the house is now hardwood and we couldn't be happier.

See above, It was a disaster from start to finish. We would NEVER use Mike Jones floors or recommend them to other people. In fact, when we show our kitchen floor to other people, they always vow to find someone else to do their hardwood floor refinishing.
We used another flooring contractor ten years ago when we refinished the bedroom floors upstairs. That contractor was quite professional and we will use him for all our future jobs, if possible. Our contractor uses Mike Jones because he gets a good price. It is not worth it.
The worse part of the experience was the rude and unprofessional behavior of the Mike Jones employees.

They were very professional. We had a few bumps along the way, so the project took longer than expected. But the job was completed and we were happy with the result. I would definitely recommend Mike Jones Flooring and will use them in the future if more work is needed.

Mike Jones came the day I called to get an estimate. My floors had just been done by someone claiming to refinish floors but he ruined the job. Mike came and did a great job and was able to fix the mistakes that had been made. He also took extra time and worked with me to get the color right, even though it meant extra time for him. My floors look GREAT! He does a really neat and clean job and his helpers are very professional and respectful. There was no dust! I would highly reccomend Mike Jones Floor Co.!!!!!

Very professional, worked hard, finished ahead of schedule. Results were beautiful. I liked that they hauled away the old carpet rather than setting it out for trash pick-up.
