He was very nice and very qualified. The price he quoted me was $5100. I was very impressed by them and he had his state license card with this one thing that the list features you to ask about. It was a very professional proposal and so on and so forth. I pointed out a couple of things that I wanted to have done and he included it in the contract and he was very professional.

Great. Gave me an estimate within a couple of days, did the work within a week despite being very busy due to weather related work. I had a small issue and they came back the next working day and fixed it right away. I would highly recommend.

Meredith Home Improvements bid was $2000 less then the next closest bid. Mike Mereidith said that he would start in two weeks,and it was two weeks to the day. The men were polite, meticulous and very good craftsmen. They did an excellent job. I had a carpenter, who's a friend of mine, look at the job and he could find nothing at all wrong. I asked Mike about a bad report that he got on Angie's List and he said that someone wanted bathrooms remodeled and he only does siding, roofs, windows, gutters and downspouts. And that he is so busy that he can't call everyone back.

Unfortunately, this is not an unusual experience; not returning calls seems to be Standard Operating Procedure. It's an awful way to treat potential customers, though, and I would dissuade anyone from using a contractor that behaves this way.
