I would not use him again.

A flat out " F"

The service tech was very nice.

I called about the problem, and we scheduled the work later in the week (to fit my schedule, not theirs). They arrived as scheduled, managed to fix the opener, and cleaned and oiled the mechanism and the tracks of the door while there.

I don't know how good the price was because we didn't shop around. We were happy with the garage door work, but the fan was an inappropriate charge that he would not negotiate on at all. He charged us hourly and a lot of his time was spent because of errors he made and having to redo things I don't think the quality of the fan was high. A year later it failed so we called him and he said it might be under warranty, but the warranty was useless because he was going to charge 85 dollars to come out plus another 35 dollars for the travel.

Albert from the company came to our house, looked at the problem, and told us the cost for the repair. He quoted the costs as follows: $150 roughly for the spring; $105 per hour for labor. In the end, after exactly one hour of work, he charged us $173 for the parts and $184 for labor. The slightly higher parts cost was understandable since we were told the $150 was an estimate. But we were charged 1.75 hours (one hour and 45 minutes) of labor for one hour of Albert's time. After making four phone calls, Mark called back and left a message. We were told subsequently that a $29 check was sent, which we did receive. We explained to Cindy at their office that there is still a difference of $50, which is $184 - $105 - $29. I called another three times and was promised each time that Mark would call back but he never did. Cindy offered to explain the discrepancy, but she could not get the numbers to add up properly. We gave up trying to recover the $50.

The repairman returned my call (twice before reaching me) within a couple of hours and arranged to come fix the door that afternoon. He had installed the door for the previous owner of the house, and took extra time to should me how to maintain the mechanism properly; he cleaned, oiled, and checked all the machinery, tracks, etc. He gave excellent service. It was a small job, and it was performed quickly and well. Repairman and office person were both very polite, friendly, and professional.

WORKMEN WERE VERY PUNCTUAL AND VERY COURTEOUS. THEY WERE ABLE TO REPAIR BOTH CONTROLS AND WERE VERY REASONABLE IN PRICE.
