M I D Hauling

We were very pleased with the efficiency and promptness of Mike. He made short work of the deck teardown and removal. His helper (his daughter we think) surely has her dad's work ethic. She helped organize the wood and ensure the nails left in the wood were not sticking up. The total project from arrival to departure with the deck remanents took less than 3 hours. We felt Mike' s rates were very good too. We highly recommend MID and will use him again for any future needs.

After a neighbor and dear friend of mine passed away, her house was sold and many items needed to be moved out of the home before the closing date. The executor lived out of state, so I found M I D Hauling on Angie's List and handled the details. We only had a day or two to get the house cleaned out.
1. A pleasant woman named answered the phone. That is key for any business. When time is of the essence, many people will keep calling other companies and not wait for a callback.
2. All of my questions were answered, she asked follow-up questions, and gave me a price quote based on my description.
3. The evening before the appointment, she called to confirm the appointment.
4. The morning of the appointment, I received a call from Mike to find out more about what they'd be hauling away.
5. They arrived early and worked quickly and efficiently. They were even kind enough to move some heavy items for me that they wouldn't be taking (items to be donated to a family).
In summary, I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. Although this cleanout was for a vacant home, these are exactly the type of people I'd welcome into my own home and trust to be honest, reliable and fair.

When I made my initial phone call, I spoke to a very helpful woman who asked that I send digital photos to give an idea of the scope of the job. That evening, she got back to me with a quote for the hauling to be done (which was scheduled for a few days after my phone call). Mike and his worker arrived promptly, worked steadily, and completed the job to our complete satisfaction. In fact, we had them back a few days later to remove a retaining wall.
