He was very professional...did a great job and is very willing to come back for other issues in the future...I am asking him to also give me a bid on my little deck.  He did a great job with putting the shelves together and hanging them...I was so happy that he was willing to do this small job.  I am so glad to have found him and will certainly call on him again!!!!  Awesome job!!!!!  Susan

It went ok
My impression was he was glad to get the work and wanted a good review.
 I needed more work done at another location so I ask for an estimate on that work.
He came over and gave me the estimate. I was very busy because I do tax returns and was going on vacation so I ask him to schedule for late May or early June. He never called to set up the date.
I called him twice since and he NEVER returned my calls
I am left to find another contractor to do this work and I thought we had a deal
He should have returned my calls  -  that would have been the professional thing to do.
I do not recommend this provider.

We bought two pieces of butcher block counter tops (96" x 25" x 1.5") and (73" x 25" x 1.5") to make desks out of.  I wanted somene to make a clean cut to take the depth from 25" to 21" and also cut the smaller piece down to 44" from 73".  I did not want to do it myself on such long pieces.I called Mr. Laffey on Saturday and described what I needed.  He said he can it and gave me a price over the phone.  I later texted him our address and he got back to me with a date and time.  He showed up right on time and performed the work very professionally.  He made sure the edges were clean and straight (using a planer) and he also rounded the cut edges for a smooth clean finish.  It was more work than I expected so I'm very happy.In summary he was proffessional, prompt, did a great job and charged the price he originally quoted.  I could not be more satisfied with the work.
