Property Appraisal
This company was selected my my mortgage lender: Atlantic Pacific. Brad, the appraiser, showed up on time and thoroughly walked through my home, took photographs and measurements. However, when I received the completed appraisal after I closed on the loan, I found the appraisal to have completely incorrect information: the # of total rooms, the # of total bedrooms and # of baths were all inaccurate. To give him the benefit of the doubt (he said he was swamped with re-financing), I double checked the Allegheny County Appraisal web site and my home information is correct on this site. I called Brad and left him a message about rectifying the information. I'm not concerned about the appraisal value, which is now understated based on his inaccurate assessment, but that the report that I paid for is correct. He hasn't returned my call.
