Our staff include CLT, Certified Landscape Technicians, which is a national certification requiring the canidate to pass a written and hands on test. We are a licensed pa contractor, licensed thru the pa department of agriculture for chemical applications and also hold a nursery dealers license. I was very pleased with my irrigation system and thought the company did a wonderful job planning, installing, and cleaning work areas. Employees were congenial and extremely cooperative in making minor adjustments to the watered areas. I felt they went over and beyond their services to please me.

"This was a tough installation with many obstacles and rainy, uncooperative weather. The crew worked diligently to complete the installation in a timely manner. Several downspouts were hit underground and some outdoor lighting was disturbed, but we made sure to properly repair everything and reroute our lines to ensure functionality. We worked with the customer and made several changes to the system to make sure she was happy with the final product."

I used to live down the street from Kimicata Brothers and they helped with some smaller projects and always did a great job. When I tried to get a quote to do the paver project in our backyard (large patio and walkway) I couldn't get any of the 3 companies that I used from Angie's List to even provide a quote and I remembered Kimicata from prior projects and gave them a call. They showed up quickly and gave us a professional quote and immediately let us know that they were busy until the spring (quote was in the fall). The price seemed reasonable and I literally couldn't find anyone else to do the work, so trusting the prior work, I said, let's do this!! They took about 2 weeks to complete the project and were really nice while at our house and the project manager kept us informed before and during the project, answering all questions and posing different options as we went along. I am very pleased with the patio and it looks great! I would definitely use them again.

We couldn't be more pleased with the outcome. Kimicata's team re-routed our sprinkler system, installed a paver patio and resolved a difficult drainage situation, and expertly constructed a dry laid retaining wall. They were responsive and transparent the whole duration, too. I'd highly recommend them to friends, especially for projects that are important for daily living.

We were able to address the slope by building a wall to retain a new patio, which created the need for a drainage solution. Our crew worked hard and implemented a few techniques to help with the lack of machine access. The irrigation tech was able to provide some basic upgrades in accordance with the work being done. Overall the project went very well and the client was open to suggestions, patient, and pleasant to work for during the entire project."

Paul and his crew have always done an exceptional job for us. They arrive on time, are very professional, courteous, patient and accommodating. They did a great job of completing the work of a previous contractor. The patio looks fantastic, and the work estimate was less than 1/2 of the next closest contractor.

Rebecca came and we discussed the situation. She said she would have an estimate to me that afternoon via email. Absolutely, true to her word, the estimate was in my email that afternoon and listed everything we discussed. It took a while for them to get my project on their schedule, but they even moved it up from the original date I was given. The work was done well, with absolute professionalism: good work, reasonably priced, good communication, timely manner, complete clean-up. I have gotten many compliments on the walkway they completed. I don't think I have ever been as happy with a company as I am with Kimicata Bros.

They were very responsive, listened to what we wanted, completed the work in a timely fashion, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. The end result looks exceptional, and is a vast improvement upon the original retaining wall and walkway. Of the three estimates we got for the project, there's was the highest, although only by a little bit, as all three were relatively close to one another. We chose their bid because of the level of detail provided in the estimate, and due to the fact that the estimate details most closely resembled the verbal discussion of what was desired for the final result. I knew exactly what I would be getting, and we got exactly what we wanted. Their workers were also all certified, which also factored into our decision. Would consider using again for jobs in the future.

They showed up on time. All the work was done consecutively. They were professional including the crews. Any changes I made or suggested was done with no problems. I also needed cement work done and Rick recommended George Gaydos , which I used to complete my project. Special thanks to Rick, Jason, Justin, Bryan and Jim who made the project go smooth. The 5% coupon from Angies list made the price sweeter. I prefer to use contractors locally to keep the business in my neighborhood, I will use Kimicata Bros. again.

Excellent! As with other job previously reviewed, we chose Kimicata Brothers for this project without getting any other bids. Our experiences with Kimicata have all been very satisfying. For this project, we worked with the landscape designer Rick Nohe, who visited us several times to understand what we were looking for and showed us the design in 3D which was very helpful. Brian was the lead on the project - which started on time. The crew was always on site, made great progress and cleaned up daily. Brian provided good explanations to what was going on, kept us informed of any changes or suggestions (to make the project better). The crews also moved the concrete pavers we no longer needed to our 2 neighbors who expressed interest in having them. We were happy the concrete wasn't going into a landfill and the neighbors were happy to have Kimicata's help. I asked Brian to replant specific plants, which was done and the lawn reseeded. Kimicata also came out to readjust our sprinkler system when work was completed.

And the are phenomenal they've been out here many times this year because I had new systems put in my sprinkling I had things that went bad and this one is bad so they have been out here three times this year. The only issue I had with them is I had a major major problem where my sprinkling was on it was not going off he couldn't turn the panel up and I figured out how to turn the entire water system off in my house but that was tough because I wasn't strong enough physically to even turn the knobs so I was able to do you know one of those days when you put a rubber gloves and say with every bit of strength before you break but I figure that was the only way and of course I left so many messages and that was over the weekend and I really needed to know what to do and every time you got inside of their services they said well we can't find him to give the information and I thought what do you have a twenty four hour service for if someone has a real emergency so then I was going to the airport and I happen to get him while I was going to the airport and I went oh my God I know how to turn this off I'm just turning everything off and I'm going to L.A cause I knew there was no way and if I knew how to do that it would have been a real trouble because at one point my water system was on for two or three days by mistake.

The came in early March to provide the estimate (2 others wouldn't come out and/or didn't return phonecalls). The estimate arrived a couple days later as provided. The actual sod installation required three separate events. First was the stump grinding and clothes line post removal. Please note that the clothes line posts were actually steel pipes that were buried 3 feet down in the ground set into concrete. Several days later they came to level the ground and prep the surface. The final day they brought in the sod and set up the sprinkler that I provided to water the ground. They answered my questions and provided guidance for future lawn care. The project manager also came out 3 weeks later to ensure that the job was a success. I have since received many compliments from neighbors and tenants. I would gladly call Kimicata again if I have any other landscaping needs.

Workers did a great job. They were fast and cleaned up when they were done. Only thing be careful of they asked if I wanted to plant something where they took shrub out. I bought $15 plant and when I got my bill I was charged $35.00 to plant it which I thought was way to expensive. My fault for not asking the price when they offered to plant something.

They did an excellent job. From the beginning, everything was handled professionally. Rebecca set up an appointment, was on time, and provided a timely quote. The estimate provided showed a complete description of the work to be done including the type of block to use, the drainage, as well as the finishing stone, backfill, and topsoil. The crew that was sent out were knowledgeable, polite, and hard working. At the end of each workday, they cleaned up the area. When the project was complete, everything was finished down to seeding areas that were to be grass. I would definitely use this group again for future projects.

Rebecca Kosko from Kimicata came to my house to take measurements and discuss my ideas for my front yard and porch area. She came back with a great design which I approved. Approximately five weeks later the crew arrived and completed the installation in two days. I requested they add exterior lighting to the design. They did, and it greatly enhanced the look of the front yard and house. I'm extremely pleased with the work and professionalism of the company.
