Rich was very easy to work with.  We had some unforeseen setbacks (for example, what we thought was a block wall that needed to be replaced was actually poured concrete, requiring jackhammer rental and several days' demolition). We had a fixed budget because we were buying the house through a 203k rehabilitation program mortgage, and he helped us by advising what we could do ourselves to trade off against unexpected work he had to do.
Several times he gave us good ideas about changes to make the renovation either more economical (installing composite steps instead of concrete; demoing the attic floor ourselves overnight to cut a day from the schedule when we lost time in other parts of the renovation) or higher-quality (switching from tilt-out basement windows to more durable and economical glass block).

I was extremely happy about the quality of their work, it was probably the highest. I also liked that they pay a lot of attention to detail. They re a little expensive, but they are worth it. The only thing that happened was that I called to hire them again and they never returned my calls. That is not very polite in my opinion and I won't call them again.
