Ken's asphalt filled some cracks on our driveway and sealed the surface. Job quality was good. They came when they said they would and price was as quoted.
Overall a good experience, and I would use this company again.

During the summer I noticed that our driveway needed to be sealed. However, I didn't follow up until autumn leaves were falling and cold weather was imminent. I contacted Ken's Asphalt Service and Ken came over promptly the next day, Thursday, to give me an estimate. My driveway was very and quot;thirstyand quot; and required a lot of sealer which Ken included in the estimate. I had scheduling constraints because on the following Tuesday through Saturday, the presence of house guests meant that our driveway had to be usable. The week afterward was also unavailable for me due to a contracting project at the house. Ken had constraints because of a vast number of jobs, oncoming cold weather and cessation of production of sealer material by his supplier. After one or two telephone conversations Ken worked it out that they would do the work on Sunday. Sunday turned out to be warm and sunny so that Ken's crew could apply a thick coat of sealer in the morning that was dry enough by mid afternoon so that leaves did not stick to it. By Tuesday we could drive on it without a problem and our contracting project went on as scheduled.

Called for estimate and received a phone call explaining the estimate as well as written estimate within a day. Work was performed within agreed upon timeframe. I was very impressed by the personal response and great communications as well as what a nice job that they did sealing my driveway. They not only took the time to fill any cracks, but they also were very precise around the sidewalks/garage/landscaping. I have sealed my driveway before and there is no way that I could have been as thorough and neat. Also - they do not spray it on, they brush it on and in my case, mixed sand since it was the first time sealed since I had it completely redone a few years back. Definitely would recommend (as they were recommended to me by 5 of my neighbors - and I see signs indicating their handiwork quite frequently as well!).

The company returned call promptly, came a few days later and left quote in mailbox. We confirmed we would like them to do the job. They came within the time frame they promised, and we mailed check after the fact. Very honest and trusting, and do a basic job for a fair price. They send post cards every 2 years to ask if you want them to assess your driveway, indicating sealing should take place every 2 years.
