The ER had me in a splint for broken finger and down played my broken finger.

Someone at Dr. Kaufman's office another doctor I think ,,asked me was I okay with just a splint until it healed I said no and he admitted my finger was really unstable. I was put into surgery the next day which was good.
Surgery was on time but pain pills did nothing for me. I just went with the pain from the surgical cuts in my finger and the 5 pins driven through my bone.. I didn't ask for other meds because know they can mess with your digestive system.
I left surgery with a cast that I had to wear for a few weeks. The office was able to let me take it off a little early and switch me into a brace. The doctor did seem concerned about my finances as he had an idea I was going through some financial issues although at times it seemed like he was trying to be discrete but lol didn't do the best job.
Called office to ask a few questions about numbness and exerciser. The person on the other end scolded me when I asked how long before I could do any type of exercise. 
All-in-All I wasn't wow'ed by the office although there was definitely 1 or 2 customer service oriented people there. Things just often seemed matter of fact. 
Doctor visits were brief which I understand because of all the patients. The fellows or younger doctors would do a preliminary on you  before Dr K. would come in.
The site ask's for me to give a lot of details and these were the things that stood out. I am typing pretty well with this finger and it's been about 4 months.  As far as I can tell the office did their job and the doctor gave me back  85 to 95 percent mobility thus far with my expectation for a really good recovery. My other friends said it takes about a year to be 100% if you ever get there.
