I would give him a positive review. I'd rate his price highly and overall the experience is between an "A" and a "B". We would use him again for exterior painting.

I contacted Mr. Copeland and he got me an estimate right away. He estimated us at $2,200 for the work to be done. He wanted $1,000 deposit to start work. He started working and within a week or so, asked for additional money for personal reasons even though the work was not completed. I paid him more on a few occasions as he kept coming back and asking for more money until I had paid him $1,800. It turned out he did no prep work and painted over chipping wood. The painted surfaces started peeling right away and he painted over it two more times with no attention to the reason it was peeling in the first place. When he replaced the fascia piece, he did it with a thinner board so it doesn't match the rest and the window frame was replaced with a metal one when all the rest were wood. After quitting 2 times, he continued to call back, to come out and work and after cursing me out 2 times, I told him not to come back and I never paid him the remainder of what I owed.
